Dalton Tree and Home Care

It was a bunch of small jobs. Probably more than they could do in the time frame. They painted a small bathroom. That was fine. They also installed some bathroom fixtures. That wasn't so great. They put the towel rack in such a way that the cabinet door can't open. They re-installed a stair rail. And they put back some bathroom tile. They were okay, but some of work wasn't really done carefully. They were really pleasant to work with, though. And inexpensive.

This contractor did not return as scheduled to finish the work he started. I made the mistake of paying him on his first visit. The quality of his work was poor, and he left a mess for me to clean up. He did not show as scheduled for the follow-up visit, nor did he return my phone call. I find his behavior to be disrespectful and extremely unprofessional. Home Advisor attempted to intervene on my behalf, with no success.

We hired Jaime, who is the owner, from Dalton Tree and Home Care for a Handyman project. The project entailed: tiling the bathroom floor, installing a recessed medicine cabinet, light fixture above the medicine cabinet, and installing backsplash in the kitchen. Jaime scratched up the new medicine cabinet, painted the base of the light fixture, and left wiring sticking out of the base of the light fixture. It is obvious that it was a "rush" job. Jaime and his "assistant" did such a terrible job that I had to hire a new contractor, who knew what he was doing and was professional, to remove the tile installed by Jaime, install new tile, which we had to purchase, install a medicine cabinet (2nd new medicine cabinet) and repair some of the backsplash in the kitchen. Total disregard. I would not recommend Jaime from Dalton Tree and Home Care. He was disingenuous to say the least. Total disappointment. Due is his substandard and inferior work, this project wound up costing us a fortune.

Jamie called promptly after we submitted our project proposal on HomeAdvisor. He happened to be in the area and arrived promptly. There were a few hiccups in the project: the replacement ballast we purchased wasn't the exact model in the existing light fixture, but Jamie was able to talk us through everything and come up with a solution. Our previously unlit hallway now has light.

this person did 2 jobs for me 1 was metal work and one was tile work. i will say who ever he subcontracted the metal work to was great work was done in about 2-3 days. i also had this company subcontract again to do some tile work which i originally wasn't going to do till he said he saw some issues. which became a nightmare. He came out multiple times even missed some appointments and left me hanging many times.. to rip and replay the tile. for whatever the reason all the people he subcontracts to just couldn't get the tile to lay flat and even. he came back one last time to try and fix it and left many of the tiles without grout cutout. i am in the process of filing a claim against him to get my money back which he says he did everything he could.. what is that supposed to mean to me?? i paid for a job and he couldn't do it properly the result should be i get my money back since i gave him 15+ tries to come back and fix it.. if i could upload a picture tell me if you see anything wrong?? if everything would have been done properly i would say his price is good but since it didn't and the headache i have to deal with now doesn't make this anywhere close to deal.

The work was done on time, and with in the budget. When the work was complete they cleaned up and removed the trash. We are very happy with the job.

The company is extremely trust worthy, we live in another state and they called day to day to provide feed back about the job. And we were very pleased with the work that was done.

They delivered as promised. Just waiting for one more item to be taken care of. Whenever I've called, he responds right away and answered all questions. Has always been very up front with me. I definitely appreciate that.
