I hired Matthew Hahn to correct a water problem in our crawlspace and spray a few areas for mold. As far as the water issues go, his contract was to trench and install gravel to direct any water to a sump, install a sump pump, and a dehumidifier. The dehumidifier never did work properly, after several months of phone calls the unit was exchanged for another unit. This unit worked for about 2 months and quit with the same error code as the last one. Also, his trenching did not address several areas that still have standing water. So I still have the problem I hired him to correct and he is no longer getting back to me. This should have been a job that normally would be completed in about one week's time, not a year plus. I just want what we agreed-on and I paid for addressed properly.

Matthew was verry professional and provided me with an estimate prior to scheduling. They arrived at the time scheduled and provided me with the information I needed to know about closing up the house and when I could return home. When I arrived home, everything was cleaned up.

Friendly and quality service.

We received an estimate and had the windows ordered through Home Depot. We thought we were on Matthew's calendar and everything was good. Then he just disappeared. Weeks have gone by with no word. Home Depot has been calling us to pick up our windows. We finally hired someone else to install the windows and discovered Matthew had ordered the wrong windows. We now are way off our schedule and have to purchase all new windows. Unbelievable. If I could give zero stars, I would.

I hired Matthew to replace a sump pump and vapor barrier under my house. It took a month and a half for him to finish the job, as he always seemed to have a scheduling conflict whenever he said he would come over. He didn't provide accurate updates on the work he was doing, and would not follow up on unfinished work unless I contacted him several times. I'm sure he did have lot of other things going on, but I just felt he was not reliable to show up. When he finished the work he did a good job.

Matthew and his team were great, they tackled a huge project to redirect water under my home , provide the correct drainage and encapsulate my basement. This was a big, time consuming project that successfully dried out my basement, and created a stable, humidity controlled environment in what once was a wet mess. When I called Home Advisor to ask for a firm to handle water remediation in north Whidbey, they recommended All Island Handy right off the bat. Matthew Hahn was very responsive, available to answer questions and handled the job without delay.

Matthew was great. On a home we were selling, the inspector found mold/mildew in an attic area. He took care of the problem within a day or two of our call to him. He came out immediately, checked out the problem area, gave us an estimate of the cost. ( Which was also a good deal considering the squar footage of the problem area.) two days later after one visit, no more problems ! Highly recommend this company for any attic or crawl space problems you have.
