I think the workmanship was great it took a lot longer than expected partly due to a bar I added in, but other items unrelated took longer than expected too. I would have appreciated a quote change with electricity prior to the work being done to mitigate the overage with this quote since I have never done this before I really did not have any idea about how my choices could affect things. They were super responsive and willing to be flexible. Because of the excessive overage from the original quote they did work with me to try to get costs back to me reasonable which I appreciated. It was my first time working with a contractor in this manner as well so I learned a few things along the way too. Overall a great job and I work to recommend them for the basement finishing for sure.

Total makeover of the bathroom. The price was comparable to others. They helped in the design and handled minor changes during the project. The craftsmen were polite and personable and and they all did their best to keep the mess to a minimum. The quality of the work is great all around. We enjoyed working with Dale Krause, the job manager. He kept on top of the process and made sure that it kept moving. Love the results.

Things go wrong, and the contractor may not be at fault, but this contractor communicates well and does his best to get great results. I liked that the workmen were available on weekends when I could be home. I hired him to install and finish three outside entrance doors and replace and trim out a widow--the bathroom project has been put on hold but Danand crew will be contacted when the time comes. I am waiting for resolution on a problem with a vendor's supplies but have been well pleased working with Mr. Krause and crew. It was nice to find someone who could handle more than one kind of project.

Very prompt, informative, looks out for your best interest. I found the vanity that I wanted at Menards and they bought and installed that instead of making me go to their vendor. They also used quality Kohler products

"We laid the tile in the basement bath. While we were in the process the owners cat walked on the wet tile, we removed the cat and told the owner to stay off the floor for 24 hours. We straightened the tiles, finished laying the tile and left for the night. The next day the owner called complaining about the tiles being uneven. We went back and agreed with the owner. We offered to tear out the floor and replace it....The owner decided it wasn't that bad and he could live with it, we deducted the cost of doing the floor as compensation. The second issue had to do with the shower door he installed, it was not part of our contract. The shower was level and plumb, when installing the shower door he did something incorrectly and blamed us for the tub not being level. The last item was we installed some HVAC duct's and used a round trim ring on the trim ring instead of a rectangular hvac trim. We offered to change it at no cost and he declined. (DK 8.11.16)"

I have a BEAUTIFUL shower/steam room and it is all thanks Dan Krause Construction. They are professional and detail oriented, tremendous customer service. The communication is outstanding, I can not tell you how happy I am with my bathroom! These guys are solid contractors that really know what they are doing.

We have just begun the demo phase of the major rebuild of our home from both a fire and a terrible contractor. Dan Krause Const. came in and is helping with all parts of the remodeling. I will post a complete rating upon completion.
