I can re-glue unstable furniture, fabricate replacement spindles, replace drawer slides, repair broken wood and metal parts. I fill and touch up nicks and scratches on any type of furniture, including wood trim and floors. (I am selective about what I strip and refinish and usually no large bedroom or dining sets). Many repairs I can do in your home. Sending me a photo can often help me understand the problem. I repair frames of sofas and upholstered pieces. I repair both recliner mechanisms and frames, troubleshoot electric recliners and carry many basic parts. I repair electric beds. I repair antiques. I can repair and polish pianos, polyester or lacquer finishes, and clean the interior. I do chair seat and back recovering, the basic type with fabric stapled on. I do foam and stuffing replacement, spring replacement, and webbing repairs. I reinstall buttons for tufted pieces and do hand sewing repairs. I DO NO CANE, RUSH OR RATTAN.

Dan picked up my Duncan Pfype table and not only repaired the one leg that was broken, but made the other three sturdier.

Dan was absolutely the best! I had a heavy oak trestle table that needed a leg repair, and he was able to work me into his schedule quickly. He arrived right when he said he would and was very careful and gentle with my table.

We had a broken recliner. We were ready to throw it out. Dan did an impeccable job! He paid attention to detail and made sure the repair was done correctly. He had contacted me several times updating me on his arrival. He charged a fair price.

He did what we ask - fixed a glass framed door that would not close completely on our antique wardrobe. He took the door off and shaved some off the bottom & adjusted the hinges slightly and made other adjustments as needed.
The wardrobe sits on top of a base that has a large drawer - he repaired the base to sit on it properly and fixed the drawer to open and close smoothly.
He did some touch up on the stained wood as needed, using special markers to match.
He was respectful and easy to work with. I especially liked that he was able to do the repair in our home. His price was fair.

Daniel Ravenel did a great repair on my sofa recliner.
He was in and out within an hour and a half, of replacing the springs under the seat cushion.
He was very knowledgeable in the repair and explained to me what was needed and gave me an accurate estimate to complete the repair.
I am very satisfied with the work and the cost, which followed what he quoted me for the repair.
