Danco Concrete

I contacted him to have a stamped 16x21 concrete padio poured. Seemed like a decent guy till the work started. Completed the pour in a day but messed the stamping up on 1/4 of the padio. Its wavy and has over 1/2 waves in it. He then came back 3 days later and made crooked cuts with a had saw that he assured me we're straight. I sent pictures to him which got him to come out and try and patch it and cut the line again. He proceeded to then go off to the left He then came back over a week later to seal it and proceeded to seal the padio that was covered in bird poop. I called him to confront him about the bird poop and was told I was full of it that there was no bird poop because he blew it off with a leaf blower. Again I proceeded to send him pictures to prove my point and got completely ignored about it. At this point now the pad has been busted up and I have to take him to court to get my down payment back. Worst experience with a contractor I've ever had

They tore out a driveway and garage floor and replaced them. I liked them, they communicated well. The work was done well. I explained to me how to seal the driveway, keep it from cracking, which I did. I have read the other reviews complaining, and I have a couple leaf marks on my driveway too. Who cares? This is a lot of square footage, and it is darn cheap per foot. It is a driveway, not your living room floor. I would use them again.

They poured my driveway, back patio, and two walkways on December 16th, 2021, and by February 9th, 2022 I noticed there were pieces of the driveway falling off. There is a considerable amount of this damage in several spots of the driveway. This has gotten worse over time and I would assume it would continue to get worse. There are also two large cracks in the driveway. Additionally, the yard was left a mess after the job was finished (large pieces of concrete not hauled away, exposed gravel, and uneven ground). The clean-up and hauling away of all job-related debris was included in the contract. I contacted the owner of the business on February 9th, 2022. He inspected the driveway, but only provided excuses and blamed me for the condition of the driveway. The owner informed me that any other concrete professional would tell me the same thing. I contacted another concrete professional and they concluded that the person who poured the concrete was at fault for these damages. The other concrete professional also noted that if this was one of their jobs they would replace the driveway or refund the customer's money. On February 16th, 2022, I messaged the owner of the company with this information and stated a reimbursement would be the best path forward to which he replied, That is not gonna happen and that guy is full of s**t I have texted and called the owner several times since the 16th without any response. He communicates only through texts and does not answer my phone calls. I have made every effort to come to a reasonable resolution, but he does not seem to want to take responsibility. He has refused to accept fault and fix the situation.

I just wanna get the job done

My experience with owner and operator Dan Presson was one of the worst experiences I?ve had as homeowner. He installed a new driveway and sidewalk in November 2019. In the winter of 2020, I noticed several leaf pot marks in my driveway. When contacted, he said it was my fault for not covering the driveway, not his fault. Over the next year or so, he and I (almost exclusively me) communicated via text ( he would never call me) about the issues related to the poor workmanship. He refused to make the necessary repairs after costing me $5,600. He was unprofessional and rude. Therefore; I took him to court in St. Louis County and one a default judgement of $3,000. I?ve tried to work it out with him since the judgement, be he refuses to cooperate. I certainly hope Danco Concrete has not treated other customers in this manner. All I want is for him to fulfill his responsibility and pay the judgement. I will never refer Mr Presson or his company, Danco Concrete to anyone.
