Complete job even with the project presented some unusual challenges! This is the 2nd time I hired this provider - no hesitation if there are future needs to hire John again!

I had some issues with my sliding glass doors and found D and L Locksmith and Safe Services on Home Advisor, and decided to give them a call. I met with John Labbe Jr., the principle of the company, and explained the problems I was having with both of my sliding glass doors. My house is a 1980s vintage home located in Regency Oaks Sub, so these doors have been serving various families over the last 35 years, probably without any service on them whatsoever. John went quietly to work on my doors, on an extremely hot and humid Florida morning, took the doors out, did a thorough cleaning of the rails, replaced the wheels, adjusted the lock mechanisms, and reinstalled the doors in their tracks and finally called me to feel the difference in how the doors slid on the tracks and operated in general. Much to my delight, I could now open and close my door with the touch of a finger, where before I had to forcefully push the whole door which essentially was riding on the rail, metal to metal and was a struggle to open and close. What a difference a little workmanship makes in how things operate! John was great to work with, his service was reasonably priced, and he’s now in my permanent go to list for all door, window and lock work in the future. Take my word on this one, D & L Locksmith and Safe Services is worth every dollar spent!

Had not yet got off the Home Advisor web site when John called and made an appointment this morning (Monday) at 9:30 am to respond to my home and see what could be done with the door. John arrived on time, checked the door and with no problems to speak of took care of the problem as well as making sure the lock was fastened and working properly. I can't say enough about his knowledge of locks and doors and his great customer service. He will be my choice for any other door or lock problems.

I contracted with John to install a new front door lock and rekey four existing deadbolt locks on my back porch. We found out that the deadbolt locks were non-functional as the mechanics were "frozen" in place due to weather. John spent time cleaning/freeing the locks and then rekeying. The good news, I didn't need to purchase new locks once he finished. Overall, John was very professional and knowledgeable. Of utmost importance, John provided excellent customer service by responding to my text messages and calling when he knew he would be delayed. Would highly recommend.

I hate to give a review like this and I would like to give John a good rating but he has stiffed me out of the full payment. I mistakenly paid in advance for a home safe and installation in January 17. After multiple phone calls, emails and texts, John would eventually get hold of me with an excuse of why he could not complete the job and commit to a date, This happened several times over the past 4 months. Since his last apology and excuse 3 weeks ago and at least 6 attempts to contact him, John has not responded. It is now the end of April 17 and I have given up and will turn the matter over to the authorities. If he eventually makes good, I will be happy to change this review. All I want is the home safe I paid for or my money back. I would not pay him for any service until your satisfaction at completion.

John put a new dead bolt and lock on for me and then rekeyed my doors to all work on the same key with no copy keys. He was on time, very efficient, polite and an enjoyable person to have in my home. I would recommend him for any locksmith requirements you may have.

My experience with John and his company was very positive. He was responsive on scheduling with calls to confirm, advise of his departure to my home, etc. He re-keyed several locks for me. On the job he was polite, respectful and helpful. He did offer tips on various options for locking devices, gave me a quick inexpensive fix for some sliding door issues and gave me a great idea for securing my garage area. Also reminded me of security device already existing in my vehicle. All this was "value-added" as far as I was concerned. He did the job well and I give him a high score on "workmanlike skills and behaviors". Thanks John. See you again as needed!
