When I discovered that we needed a structural engineer, I was overwhelmed by trying to seek out a reputable engineer. I happened upon DL Engineering, Inc. on Home Advisor and decided to give them a shot; I'm very happy that I did. Garrett came out to observe a residential property for movement of the foundation. He was extremely professional, thorough, and personable. He answered all of my questions and didn't hesitate to show me various findings and explain why or why not it was an area of concern. Garrett provided me with a very detailed evaluation and I would highly recommend both Garrett and DL Engineering.

Garrett is personable and thorough. Whenever we needed clarification and adjustments he was there for us. We took our time making decisions but he never gave up on us or disappeared. He gave us a few different ways we could remove a load bearing wall - posts, a beam below the ceiling, beam above the ceiling between the joists and, our favorite, a beam above the joists combined with one post. His flexibility is much appreciated.

Dan was very professional and gave a us a detailed evaluation of our situation. We received a written review of his inspection within two days. we were very pleased.
