Danmer Custom Shutters

11-9-2024 This is a review, not a request for services. BEWARE: Danmer went out of business in CA soon after installation in Dec. 2018. Installed incorrectly. I tried to get my money back from my credit card, but couldn't. I see the same company (same logo) is doing business currently in Las Vegas NV. I see reviews 4 reviews from CA on this page, but they have no date. they should be removed as the must be six (6) years old. Once Danmer goes our of business, you have no recourse/remedy. As a review I give Home Advisers permission to use use this as a review only. I do not give Home advisors permission to give my information Service Professionals, including Home Depot and Empire and affiliate, Angi, or for marketing purposes.

I hired Joseph to install custom blinds for me last year and I have been having problem with a part, I have trying to contact them because I have a warranty with them and have not been able to reach them

The company close and they never notify me of this. Their door close on 02/06/19. I paid in full and thank God that I paid with a credit. So I will able to received my full amount.

Please be careful with this company. do not give money before receiving product.

Excellent and professional job of installing shutters in our new home. They were willing to work with us for pricing and financing. We will definitely be using them again in the future.

My original review was very negative, because my order for skylight blinds somehow disappeared. However, I must say that Danmer went out of their way to compensate for the inconvenience it caused, and I have finally got my skylight blinds installed, it was not that much delayed, and it works great, so thumbs up for Danmer.

They were very nice. The man who came out explained everything to me and showed me how to use the shutters.

They were friendly and prompt and accommodating. I worked with 3 different people and each of them were very helpful and made me feel comfortable about my purchase.

Cannot give complete rating until work is finished. Shutters take 8 weeks to manufacture and be ready to get installed . . . So far, the salesman and installer who came to take measurements have been great.

Haven't received items as yet so don't know work quality. Blinds being measured and then made. Had to include quality rating.

Pleasant experience with salesman Don. We wanted the blinds sooner than 4 weeks but Don said he would work on getting them faster. We're hoping the company complies with our wishes.

Salesperson was very pleasant and easy to work with. She came back when we needed to check the selected color.
