Danny just redid - from the joists up - our three balconies/decks on our Laurel Canyon hillside home. I cannot say enough about the company or the crew. These guys showed up on time every day, were courteous and clean, and really some of the best tradespeople I have worked with as a homeowner. Danny's quote was realistic, and he came in on budget and finished almost a WEEK EARLY! When has that every happened in home remodel/repair? Our neighbors even commented that they had no idea we were having outdoor work done, as the noise was kept at a bare minimum, even during demolition.

They did a great job replacing our worn out deck. Prompt, efficient - high quality installation. Great work crew. Handled the punch list with enthusiasm. Would hire them again in a heart beat.

Very accommodating! We hired Danny Deck Co. to do a number of other jobs for us including some major landscaping, putting up a chain link fences around a 7500 sq ft. lot, build a retaining wall with railroad ties, and of course resurface & water proof our front porch (deck).

I specified what I wanted done very carefully and the contractor acknowledged that verbally but I did not check the details of his written bid carefully. It lacked specific details about repairing a small section of false wall, water proofing the deck and painting the structural supports of the deck. Later they tried to add these as high priced add one.

Dear Customer, we are sorry you feel this way, all work was completed with complition by you. The deck project and structure was built very good and safe to youur satisfaction, in regards to the additional work we are not painters and the painting work and waterproffing was not in agreement and not included in the contract! This work was proposad to you as additional and the price might have been high for you becouse we do not do painting thier for it was recomended for you to higher a profesional painter whom which will give you a bettert qoute for that.Again we are sorry that this is how you feel, it has been a plesure workinh with you!

Quality work with respect to carpentry, but complete failure with respect to stain and sealing of deck. Poor oversight over work crew. Effective oversight would have avoided stripping of stain and resealing by customer. Poor responsiveness. Quality work, but manage yourself.
