Dan seems like a really nice guy and appears to know his stuff. Rated down a bit due to delay in receiving his report from what was promised. Report was thorough and detailed problem areas and solutions. I recommend his services - however - if you are on a tight deadline, you may have to stress timeliness. In addition, Dan is a veteran and offered a veteran's discount.

For the money and the service, this is hands down the best home inspector in the Valley. I didn't even go looking and Dan made sure to give me a discount as a first time home buyer. He was extremely thorough in his inspection and crawled around on the roof and found the tiniest bit of moss. He didn't have to bring it up, he didn't have to go that far into detail, but the fact he did speaks volumes. In addition to that he found screws where the old kickboard for the patio used to be that even I overlooked several times over even after he pointed it out. Went into the basement and found what was probably the only problem but by far the biggest, DIY electrical work. Thanks to Dan I saved thousands by not running into a massive headache that surely would've reared its head. He even made suggestions on things that passed but he would recommend fixing or replacing with today's standards. I'd recommend his service even if his prices weren't the best, without him going out of his way constantly. I'd recommend his service solely on the fact that he made himself available, was always straight forward, and had no problem explaining to me the process, his process, and getting my home inspected as quickly as possible to help close on my loan. The fact that he does all of that even still speaks volumes to the amount of character and pride he takes in his work. Don't go any further, he has it all and does it all, all right here.
