Troy came and met with me during one afternoon and was able to work me into his schedule the following week. He quoted me a price and stuck to it and got the work done before he said he would. He later came by to check on things and made it clear if we ever had an issue he'd be glad to help. Great experience all around, highly recommend Troy...

Troy was dependable, personable, on time, trustworthy, finished the job a day before projected, and he charged me about 1/2 of the cost that other contractors wanted for the same thing. He also guaranteed his work and says to call him anytime I need help with the waterfall he installed, with filling or cleaning, ( though it is maintenance free,) he said, " I only live 15 minutes away."

Troy was responsive and helpful in figuring out the scope of the project. However, the project was not fully completed. He returned to address one issue, but did not return for the other, despite several promises to do so. The project involved regrading to keep moisture away from the house, and the part he didn't finish was putting dirt up against the house to create slope - pretty important! We'll have to finish it. Do not pay until you've confirmed the work has been completed.

"I throw my hands up in the air on this one. I walked the job with the homeowner when the job was complete And they were very happy and satisfied. The next day they asked me for some extra dirt along their house and I said I would get to it when I have a chance, 2 stars for a wheel barrel of dirt hardly seems fairI am going to try to contact the homeowner and give them their extra dirt.I never collect on a job until the homeowner is a hundred percent satisfied."

Water Feature Fountain or Waterfall Installation
Troy Davenport and his crew are passionate about creating a beautiful waterfall. They built a waterfall in my front yard that winds down the side of my house 70 feet to my back yard ending in another fall. It was a major project done on time and no surprises. Troy then landscaped around the two falls and stream with trees, sod, boulders, and 180 grasses, bushes, and plants. It looks amazing and I have told Troy he may bring clients by to see it with a heads up. A bonus to Elizabeth and I was Troy and his crew being great people, they were here to serve and we enjoyed getting to know them.

My yard looks incredible! I already had ideas about what I wanted in my front yard, and Troy included my ideas into his plan. My front yard is amazing, and is much better than what I had even imagined. The project was completed on time and on budget. Troy and his team were professional and did the job right. I will definitely be using them again in the future!

The response was quick and the contractor worked closely with me regarding my scheduling needs. The job was professionally completed and the project promptly rectified. I am a widow and was not over charged for the depth of knowledge and repair iinvolved. Other contractors were called and did not provide a thorough explanation of the work done to remediate the problem. Obviously this made me doubt their capability. Pricing was mid-range but you felt you were getting what you paid for.

Troy Davenport was able to find a solution to our drainage problem and showed up to take care of it very promptly. He and his crew did such a good job that we ended up having him do several more projects for us that we were going to have someone else do. We are confident that he will do a terrific job on everything else and appreciate him being able to work us in his schedule so our backyard will finally be completed! We would definitely recommend Davenport Landscapes to anyone who wants the job done right at a fair price, they were great to work with.

Water Feature Fountain or Waterfall Installation
First of all, this project was never completed. We signed a contract that the leak in our waterfall feature would be repaired for $1500.00. We initially paid $1,000, informing the contractor we would pay the remainder when the job was complete. The contractor failed to repair the leak stating it must be in another area than he originally thought. He requested an additional $1200.00 to fix the waterfall ensuring us that this should do it. The reason he requested the additional $1200.00 was because he needed to pay his crew. Already out $1,000 and trusting the job would be complete we paid the additional $1,200. After paying the contractor a total of $2,200, he quit the job. He stated the leak could not be fixed unless we replaced the whole waterfall. During this period of time, the contractor made my husband and I feel like we were in the wrong. It wasn�t our fault he was not able to find and fix the leak and he made us feel very uncomfortable.

"This water feature was 14 years old with a leak. Until I got into the job of tearing it apart there was no way of knowing what I would find. What I did find was that the rubber liner was covered with 6�-8� of concrete. The leak was not in one spot it was leaking throughout the entire feature and had been for years.This was discussed in detail with the homeowner & they were aware that a repair would not solve the problem.The feature would have to be completely removed & replaced.The monies paid were for the labor & materials used per our contract not to build a $12,000 feature for free.We did our very best to please & help this customer."

It was a pleasure to hire Davenport Landscapes. Troy and his crew are prompt, hard working, and very professional. Davenport removed a failing 2 tier nightmare that was my backyard, and installed a 4 foot tall by 70 foot long timber wall, turning a once treacherous slope, into a wonderful area for my children to play. Troy was willing to work with me, and my budget, helping me achieve my goals at far less than other landscapers had bid for the job. They went above and beyond to assure the strength of the wall, and guaranteed his work for the life of the material. Davenport Landscapes truly takes pride in their work. I would highly recommend!

Troy was great and his crew was polite and prompt. They arrived everyday at 7:45am and were usually gone by the time I got home. I got a bid which was fairly priced and for the complete project. In other words, I knew what I wanted and what I expected to be done. Troy was given somewhat free license to deviate from my plans and he did so making some color changes and rock placement changes, which were all done in good taste. Overall I am highly pleased with their work and efforts, completing the project 4 days earlier than was called for in the contract.

One wall of rocks came loose and fell. We had to rebuild that. They left chunks of concrete hidden behind a bush and left trash from lunch in the yard. They did a good job on rerouting the water line.

"At the completion of this work I had received payment and was told by the homeowner the job looked great. It had been over a month since Davenport Landscapes had heard from this client. If we would have gotten a call about debris and loose rocks we would have made it a number one priority to visit the site and correct this. As the owner, I�m on site for all my jobs. When I left this residence I saw no debris and homeowner never mentioned it at that time. We take great pride in our customer satisfaction, it�s guaranteed."
