Very quick when nick arrived

Beware of David's home improvement and keep in mind as I later found out he is not licensed, this was something I had assumed was assured by HomeAdvisor, but not always. He was originally hired to do an emergency outside stair replacement for two cracked limestone stairs he was paid upfront, he replaced the two slabs. but the new stair lips did not match the rest of the originals. He assured me that if he replaced the remainder of the stair slabs the new replacements would all match up. So I paid upfront again, he replaced the other stairs and the lips did not match up anyway. He than said he would cut them down, and for a additional charge would point the bricks. I paid upfront for the brick pointing. He also had started to concert wash the brick face of the stair backs without my permission. I asked him to stop and, he said he would power wash it off next time. Then he disappeared for months, I called I texted. In the summer he finally answered a text, when I asked if this was his normal work ethic, he apologized, than he disappeared again. The only time he would show up again was when HomeAdvisor intervened in August. He showed up in August to try and remove the concrete off of the brick face with power washing. The next day an assistant was sent starting brick facing. Dave texted me august 19th saying he was on his way to continue but never showed and never called and I have not heard from him since. To date stair lips not cut to match, concrete residue still on the bricks. and the pointing job is rough and sloppy. Licensed pro came to look and called it a disaster.

Performed exceptionally well . Will use him in future. Not only did the install but cleaned up afterwords.

Dave's home improvement service was a refreshing and delightful experience compared to other companies I have used in the past. Dave 's experience and professional knowledge helped to solve the issues I was having in my home at a fair and reasonable price and the job was completed to my expectations. I not only will be using his services's again ,but feel comfortable to refer him to family and friends.
