Dave's Maintenance & Home Improvement opened its doors in March 2000. A one-man operation at the beginning, the company finished its first year with less than $100,000 in sales. However, we were building a reputation for quality work with each satisfied customer. Today, we are one of the best locally owned and operated home improvement companies in the area. As we've grown, we've been careful not to compromise our commitment to quality. And, our sense of pride is apparent in every addition or remodel project we complete. Basement - Remodel
I hired Dave to remodel my basement. He took an unfinished mess of a basement and turned it into a fantastic family room that we will be able to enjoy for as long as we live in the house. This was no small project. He removed the Lally columns and put in steel beams. He also built us a new full bath along with plenty of closet space. During the process, he was willing to change the plans as we changed our minds. He had some great ideas that helped make our new room the great place that it is today. I can not thank him enough for the great job he did.

Basement - Remodel
Dave Hotte and his team finished approx 1000 sf of basement into multiple rooms with closets. Dave is a good problem solver and very capable. Dave gave us a thorough estimate and came with pictures of previous projects he had completed. Dave was very cost conscious and honest. He kept a good line of communication open and was either available to take calls or returned calls promptly. Dave was reliable and showed up when he said he would and kept our project moving along. Dave was very thorough and somewhat of a perfectionist. The fit and finish was nice. I highly recommend Dave for remodeling projects.

Dave was very courteous and polite and was very attentive to the customers needs and concerns. His quality of work as well as his work ethic rate very high on my list of priorities. In fact, prior to his departure on the final day of the bathroom remodel job, I told him that I would re-hire him for 2 other jobs needed in my home. Excellent contractor !!!!!

Dave was terrific. He always returned phone calls, gave us a prompt and accurate estimate. His work was exceptional. We had Dave remove and replace basement bulkhead doors and the rotted basement steps. When they completed the work, they cleaned the site as though they were never there - except the new bulkhead doors and stairs were in place. I would definately use Dave for another project and I would recommend him to friends and family.

It is with great pleasure to have the opportunity to recommend David for any renovation or addition you may consider. We have just added 750 sq.Ft to our basement. We added two rooms plus a half bath. After each work day, David would pick up any debris, sweep & clean up the floor area. I can only express my total pleasure & pride having completed this project with David. He was always punctual and completes a full day with only a break for lunch. David is a true professional & skilled in all phases of work. I feel very fortunate to have found Dave's Maintenance & Home Improvement thru your service.
