He called & when I found out he represented Angies list I said no as Im have had trouble in the past. He convinced me to give him a chance, I did, job not done. I texted him several times he didn't respond. Finally he did respond said he was going on vacation. I asked him when he'd be back he did not respond

He called right away and went with me to pick out the doors. He knew which ones would be best and was very knowledgeable and helpful.

I feel scammed. Dave installed our sliding glass door. I was excited at the low quote and he has good reviews. But once he finished the job, he conveniently ?lost? the original quote, and the new one he wrote was an extra $1,500. After he left, I inspected his work more: absolutely terrible. The draft is worse now than our original 60 y/o door was. You can HEAR the traffic and outside noise when it?s shut, as if the door is open. The door wouldn?t latch (he later fixed this). He left massive gaps behind the entire interior trim and the wall. Gaps and uneven angles all over the door. There is visible ?hump? to the top of the door. He said this was due to the floor, but as a professional, shouldn?t you be able to adjust for that? Now we?re out of money and have a worse door for it. We would have been better off paying more for a big company install, with a satisfaction guarantee and warranty on the door. As new home owners it will be hard for me to trust any self contractor again.
