I contracted David to paint my house, he wanted the project and I paid him half, then he gave me several excuses for not finishing the job, even offering to pick it up because his car broke down, blocking calls and messages.

Expectations of outcome must be made absolutely clear. His mastery of English is pretty good but not great. He did initially bring someone to translate. He is very polite and pleasant and eager to please. I WILL work with him again as the need arises.
