Write a ReviewWe have known Dave the Plumber for many years. He is our go to guy for everything plumbing related. He is a consummate professional and extremely knowledgeable. He is impeccably qualified and honest. He is also reasonably priced. Our latest problem entailed a defective bathtub faucet. I called Dave and he was busy at the moment and said that the problem that I had I could easily fix myself by going to Home Depot and picking up the part which I did and I was able to put it in under 20 minutes. (It took longer to remove it from the plastic container that it was wrapped in). His suggestion probably saved me a few dollars.
David is very competent and did a very nice job. Thanks!
Thanks Dave! Quick, responsible, and reasonably priced!
David did a great job on our basement 1/2 bath addition. He also fixed some issues with the existing drainage pipe. His work is neat and professional. David was also excellent at communicating and prompt for showing up when he said he would. David is also a really nice person to know and we would highly recommend him for any plumbing job.
Dave previous worked at my house resolving a water filtration issue. Had low pressure on one of my lines and called Dave. He provided free advice by phone (and actually responded immediately!) so I could resolve the problem without any charges. Great customer service and highly recommended.
David provides quick and efficient work at very reasonable cost.
David has provided exceptionally skilled work and customer service for several jobs over fifteen plus years. Response time and communication couldn't be better which is a rarity these days!! Hands down I would recommend his work.
Communication was very good and prompt replies to requests for service. David kept his appointment with us as agreed and was on time. It's always a plus to speak directly with the person who's name is on the business. I highly recommend this Plumbing company
Beware may not be a licensed plumber who can not find does not say on his website or from the town!!!! We called David the plumber once to snake the drain and he was great nice came on time and did the job. We called him again to fix a leaking water heater. He asked us what we thought was wrong and we thought it was the pressure valve (we just guessed we are not plumbers). He replaced it and charged us never checking anything else. The next day we saw there was still water on the ground and we looked all around and found that it was leaking from a nut on the bottom. We called David again and told him that did not fix the problem and found the leak. He said we need to replace the whole water heater now so we did his recommendation. He charged full price even though he did not fix the problem the first time. He came out a few days later to replace the water heater and the day of said oh did I mention you need an electrician too do you have one. I said no you never said we needed one so we had to pay a premium to get one asap for this install. After he installed it he shuts off our boiler saying since you switched to electric you do not need this on. A few days later the boiler was leaking from multiple spots. And we called David again. I guess he was out of the country and could help us so we had to call another company to look at it. They asked why did we shut off the boiler it is cast iron and cracks if it is not left on. We informed them that is what the other plumber recommended and he shut it off. They also looked over his work and saw a hot water piper cut with no caps improper jointing on the copper pipes bad wiring for the water heater and another issue with the unit's installation. We had to pay an extra $12000 to replace the boiler and fix the bad plumbing job and the dangerous open hot water pipes David did. We tried contacting David a few times no response. We found him on Google and Angies list under licensed and insured plumbs but can not find anywhere even in the town if he is a licensed and insured plumber. Beware David may not be licensed does not even say he is on his website. Now we are out the cost to replace a valve that did not need to be replaced a water heater and a new boiler. https://www.cityofpoughkeepsie.com/DocumentCenter/View/1800/Licensed-Plumbers-List-PDF.
I have used David twice, once for leaky toilets, and then to replace a water heater. On both occasions he was great: prompt, professional and did great work
