Terrible experience. I hired Rudy in September of 2025. I had flooding issues in my backyard and we discussed on several occasions about how to divert the water to the street. Detailed plans were drawn up, and we agreed that a long swale down the side of my house would be sufficient in draining the backyard. He came out to my house twice before the project, and on the second visit he brought his foreman and we plainly directed his foreman on what was going to be constructed. On Sept. 24, 2025 his crew came out to begin the pour. Neither Rudy, nor his foreman, were present during the concrete pour. Instead of pouring a 20ft swale, they poured an 8 inch slab concrete walkway that now diverts water into my house and into my bedroom. Rudy promised to fix the concrete on Sept. 25, 2025. I have contacted him many times, but the last time I received anything from Rudy was on Dec. 1, 2025.

In 2018 I needed a new patio slab as the old one had severely cracked apart. Rudy Davila met me at the site and due to the nature of the expansive soil he recommended a stand alone slab beefed up with a deeper footing around the perimeter and at least one grade beam for support and heavy duty re-bar throughout. Rudy’s crew showed up and went to work. The entire job took maybe one week. They did a beautiful job and left the site clean. Here we are seven years later, and I am happy to report the slab is still in perfect condition. I have since added a patio cover. I am so happy that I took Rudy’s advice. This man knows concrete and the challenges associated with the different soil types in and around the San Antonio area.

I've known Rudy for 10-12 years. He's always been great work for me.
