Very poor communication. They promised to call me before they came out to do my property survery, they never did, they just showed up and did it without us the homeowners even being there! I had to keep after them to deliver my promised survey and PLAT drawings. I continued to get non answers from them when I would enquire about where my PLAT drawings were. When they finally claimed they were finished and completed, it seems the forgot to send them when they promised. I called them 4 days after they didn't show up and got a lie that they had mailed them on time, of course they finally showed up days later post marked the day I had called to ask yet again were the PLAT drawings were, so they had not been sent when they said they sent them.

It was a good experience talking to them and working with them. We needed our land surveyed and they came right out and took the survey. They provided us with a nice plat.

Two guys came out to our house on a Saturday morning to find and stake our property boundaries so we could plan properly for a fence. They were friendly, did the job and walked me through the edges of my yard when finished.

The owner provided excellent service. He met me at the property and spent time with me to understand what he would do and the rough cost. He finished the survey in one day and the office manager was very professional when we came to pay for the service and made sure we understood what the surveyed showed. All DES personnel were very professional and courteous.

Still waiting for a final placement of the boundary markers. I remeasured the line and found the key marker to be out of place. Reported my findings a week ago and still waiting for resolution.

Overall I had a great experience with Davis Engineers. My only complaints were that on a couple of occasions I was told that they would finish up but they did not appear and I did not get a proactive notification that something changed. I was not in a hurry so it didn't matter to me that much, especially these guys were a lower cost that the others I considered. The project manager was very accommodating, answering every question I had to ensure I knew exactly what each measurement meant and even provided requested diagrams/pictures of the research they performed on the plat.

We had to get our property staked for a fence. Unfortunately I can't remember the name of the fellow that came out to our house. He was very polite and went around the property with us and gave us information on what belonged to us and what didn't and answered all our questions, because we were clueless. He also left us his email address in case we had any disputes with the neighbors regarding borders. Recommended!
