Lonnie did a great job, thanks! The project was to install 3 grab bars and a handheld shower head in one bathroom and a handheld shower head in 2 other bathrooms. I supplied hardware and plans, and Lonnie installed them as requested to a high standard. He is easy to work with and has a respectful, pleasant personality. I would not hesitate to work with Lonnie again on other home projects. Thanks Lonnie!

Doors (Interior) Installation and Replacement
This guy is horrible, I hired him and he quoted $650 for work and adter coming home and half way the work he started asking more money $250 more saying its taking more time to finish the work and I accepted that and as he requested and in the last min before finishing the work he texted me again asking $600 more otherwise he won?t come and finish the work, when I questioned him for additional money he started using abusive language. I would have given negative rating if possible, vey horrible guy no work ethics at all.

"Original quote was given to install double interior French door in a normal wall. It turns out wall customer wanted doors installed in was a main structural wall twice the normal thickness. To maintain safety and structural integrity of the wall lead to 3 times the amount of work involved than originally bid on. Customer was unwilling to pay a fair price for the increase of labor involved. As you can see from my overwhelming positive reviews this is a rare outcome."

I hired Lonnie to mount my tv and run the wires through the wall to make sure the cord did not show and he did it quickly and perfectly. He also installed 2 new faucets in the master bathroom that required new holes drilled through the counter top. The faucets look perfect, he cleaned up everything, and did a beautiful job. We have already hired him again for an upcoming project. Lonnie responds quickly, is very positive, and willing to help with anything we needed.

Things seemed to be going well at first however it appeared that Lonnie was taking a very long time and getting sidetracked by working on things that were not on the original list of projects that I gave him to work on. He charges by the hour and a lot of that time was spent going back and forth from my house to his truck multiple times per hour. When I asked him about this and reminded him of the original list of projects that I asked him to do he became defensive and left almost immediately. It seems that efficiency and being held accountable to his customers are not important to him. I work from home and my adult kids live here so we were able to monitor his work perhaps more than most. I?m concerned about the elderly and customers that aren?t at home are being taken advantage of.

"Customer requested a large number of repairs and new installs including plumbing, electrical, Sheetrock repairs, painting and carpentry. Everything worked on was discussed. When she realized she was not going to be able to afford all that she wanted done she became increasingly negative. I decided it was best not to continue working under those conditions. As you can see from my many 5 star reviews this was an unusual outcome."

I had an especially challenging ceiling light replacement project that included repairing a nasty hole in the ceiling and reinforcing the area to support the new fixture. Lonnie found a creative solution, did the tedious work, and now I have a repaired ceiling and a new light. He also hung a new towel bar, fixed a broken drawer runner, hung a rack in the utility room, and gave me some good advice about several other repairs that still need attention. I will definitely have him back to work on the remaining projects. He is easy-going, polite, smart, and I highly recommend his handyman services.

Lonnie repaired sheet rock, replaced wood trim with hardie plank on chimney, siding, window, refinished a mahogany door, rebuilt closet shelving plus a number of other projects. He also went beyond what was expected in repairing or retouching areas on the outside of the house I hadn't noticed but he saw while doing the original work. We're very pleased with the completed projects. The trim work, for example, is much better than the original (quality and appearance). All on or under budget (which was less than other quotes) We would recommend Lonnie Davis for any home project. Thanks Lonnie
