Wood Shake or Composite Roofing - Repair
Richard DeMarco promptly returned my call, and came out according to my schedule to help me with a leaky roof situation. He diagnosed the problem immediately, and if I had been ready, would have repaired it on the spot. He came out the very next day and repaired the damaged roof. He did not "drop" me as a customer, but made sure to contact me at least twice after the next rain storms to check on the status of my situation and see if there were any more issues. He patiently listened to all my questions and explained everything to me verbally and through pictures. I would recommend this company and will use him again int he future.

Richard Demarco was very knowledgeable and correctly assessed and repaired a fairly complex issue that involved two roofs. He and his team were communicative and transparent and made themselves available throughout the repair process and provided follow up to ensure that there were no issues after the repair was complete. I plan to use DeMarco roofing for my roofing maintenance and future repairs.

Asphalt Shingle Roofing Repair
Iâm writing this to revise my previous review of DeMarco Family Roofing. As I mentioned before, I was disappointed with the lack of communication about returning to repair the water damage to my kitchen ceiling. I was unaware of a family emergency that Rich had which resulted in him not contacting me to repair the ceiling. One of his workers was supposed to notify me of the personal matter, but due to a miscommunication it didnât happen. Rich called me right after Christmas very apologetic and asked if he could reschedule the repair. It was good with me. He came today to do the work. Therefore, I want to change my rating from 3 stars to 5 stars. Bottom line, will I hire DeMarco Family Roofing again â YES.

Asphalt Shingle Roofing Repair
The roofing work was fine, but they never showed up to repair the kitchen ceiling. I contacted DeMarco Family Roofing through Home Advisor on December 17th. When Rich stopped by he looked at the job of replacing 2 roof vent caps and the hole I had in the kitchen ceiling (made by the plumber to Identify where the water was coming from). I asked Rich if he could also repair the ceiling. He said it would be no problem. He planned to do everything on Sunday December 20th, since we had rain in the forecast for the next few days. On the 20th he showed up with his crew and did the cap replacement. He asked if he could come back on the 22nd or 23rd to do the ceiling repair. I told him that was fine. I just wanted the ceiling patched before Christmas. He said he would call Monday (12/21) evening to let me know when he would stop over. I never heard from him again. If he had just told me he couldnât do it, I could have hired someone else to fix the ceiling. I was very satisfied with the roofing repair, but not calling about the ceiling is not very good customer service. I would have given DeMarco Family Roofing 5 stars, but reduced that to 3 stars due to my dissatisfaction described above.

I hired this company for a new roof and have been giving the run around. There have been dry days that they could have worked and told me they would be here and never showed. I have called them and e-mailed them and text them all to no avail. I paid them their requested deposit and can't even get a call back. I am very disappointed with this company why can't they at the very least won't call their customer back

"[Consumer name withheld at their request]. The review that was written by you is very misleading. It makes it sound like i took a deposit and never returned to do the work. That is 100% false. We worked there 5 days straight and on & off for another week when weather allowed us to. There was a lot of additional work that needed to be done to your roof. It was neglected for years and years. We went over all the work needed to be done. I showed u all the pictures and gave you estimate to do work that we all agreed on. We did the work and still didnt receive a payment. The deposit u gave us covered all material needed ( which is all on job and most was installed already including materials i purchased and didnt get reimbursed for. ) i tried reaching out to you via email text message and numerous phone calls. Bad weather did become an issue in finishing job on schedule. I did everything i could to make u happy. Made two late night emergency service calls to fix heater and tarp area of roof that wasnt completed yet. (11pm 2x's) we take pride in everything we do. Other ratings and reviews will show that. I never started a job that wasnt completed. I had full intentions of completing project. A lot of work underneath roof needs major attention. We still would like to continue working with you. You just need to understand certain things i have no control over. Weather especially, unexpected additional work etc... im not happy with this entire situation. we Just need to get on same page. Im just disappointed with that review which is very misleading. Potential clients who read that will look right past our company if that is read. I NEVER TAKE $$$ from a client and never show up. We rely heavily on home advisor for our work. Rating and reviews. Please contact me so that we can resolve this matter thank you Sincerely Richard DeMarco"

This is a top notch company! They go above and beyond to take care of all your roofing needs. They repaired everything that was in the original scope of work and also let us know right way other repairs they noticed that needed to be addressed (confirmed by photos - shown to us that day). They never pressure you into fixing something you aren't prepared to fix yet. Rich knows he's field and gives very competitive pricing!
