DeMotte Architects in an architectural firm founded in 1990 based in Ridgefield, CT. Our specialty is residential design (both small & large projects) consisting primarily of custom homes, additions, renovations, & remodeling throughout Fairfield County CT & Westchester County NY. Our projects are designed in many styles including Colonials, farmhouses, and shingle style houses, and this is driven by the vision of our clients. Working together, we make your vision become a reality. Our approach on all projects is based on timeless design, resulting in creative solutions that work with today's lifestyle & employing all the best of current technology & trends in home design. My wife and I were extremely pleased with DeMotte Architects. We needed to improve the layout and utility of our home and Brad was an excellent listener. He worked with us patiently, provided endless iterations of floorplans and choices, and communicated promptly and well. Every builder we spoke to complimented Brad's drawings - they are the most complete and detailed output we could find, by far. All in all, Brad met all of our needs and we would hire him again without hesitation.

Our project is relatively small - one room, 300 sq ft, a sunroom. Nonetheless, we selected an architect with great care and we are delighted that Brad and his team at Demotte have proved to be the smart choice. We wanted to expand our kitchen at our home in Weston, CT. The first day my wife and I met with Brad he began drawing designs right in front of us and started coming up with a "master plan" for the home to meet both our current and future needs. We had described to Brad what we wanted and throughout the design process he came up with a number of different designs and floor plans. He is very creative and has an excellent sense of aesthetics. Bottom line is when the final design was complete it was 10 times better than my wife and I's intial plan. The final drawings are very detailed and had many compliments from builders. Brad is a 10!!!

Brad DeMotte has a rare combination of qualities difficult to find in an artistic field -- an excellent eye for aesthetics, an acute business acumen, and a creative spirit. He is a fast thinker and a fast talker. Extremely thorough. An e-mailer! Rave references. Crucial for us was his flexibilty with level of services. We hired him for a large job/small budget in an upscale town. Were impressed when we gave him wish list and he got everything we wanted on the first try! No joke. Construction drawings are painstakingly detailed. Contractors comment on how clear and thorough they are. Construction has not yet started but I will report back!
