Our roof had a leak that we could not figure out where it was coming from. Dean came out and was able to discover where the leak originated and fix the problem quickly. The part that gave me confidence in Dean's ability to fix the repair was that he didn't require payment until after the next rainfall to confirm that the issue was fixed. We were very happy with Dean and if we have any roofing needs in the future he will be the one we call.

Dean came out and looked at my situation. Gave me solutions and gave me the option to do it myself or he could do it. It was a small roof repair. I had arranged with a contractor recommended by Service Magic to inspect my leaking roof vent, and he suggested replacing half the roof at a cost of nearly $4,000. Otherwise, he couldn't guarantee the leak wouldn't return. He showed me pictures of the worn rubber gasket at the soil stack, and indicated this is where the leak was coming from. Dean Nelson, who phoned me that day, arrived a half hour later, and said this was a fairly common problem and he could fix it for $150, plus parts. He replaced the gasket/flashing assembly on the soil stack, and the cover or one of the bathroom vents. The total came to $186. It hasn't leaked since.

I am very pleased with Dean's work. It hasn't rained as yet so I can't tell if the job is water proofed. But based on what Dean has done, it looks like a bonafide job.
