Representatives appeared to be interested only in upselling.

Terrible service. Booked them for a furnace tune-up and inspection. They just wanted to sell a new furnace to me rather than servicing the furnace. Tried to push a deal to me with a discount if taken right away. Did not tell me any issues with the furnace, even when I asked, but asked me to get it changed immediately.

Besides being late, everything was great.

I was pleased that they were able to come the same day to fix heater. It was easy fix we did not need parts.

They came in, looked at the clogged bathtub, then all around the house and other small problems then quoted me 18,000 to 19 000 to unclog the tub, new shut off valve, new toilet, fix water pressure, and a couple of new vanities that I do not want. Oh and told me my overflow tank was not on correctly and is blown, which it was not. Do not hire this company. They are liars.

Arrived late. Gave one quote when they were supposed to give three. Refused to provide an accurate receipt then when they did they had incorrectly charged me an extra $1800.00. Broke off a piece of my stoop and covered it with my welcome mat. Cost $6000.00 for a water heater installation when this should run about $1500-3000. Would never recommend or do business with this company ever again. Please come fix my stoop already!!

The 2 service expert Rick and Travis . They were great. I had a leak and could not find it. They can out find the leak and fixed really fast and clearly check out everything to make sure everything was good. They took all the safety measurement and keep everything clean. They took their time to explain everything for the husband whom is blind. Would recommend they guys and the company

They came during the time I requested they not come. They did not wear booties in the house as promised. They did the job quickly and well.

Originally the plumbers were here for a leakage fix inside the wall, but they cannot do the demolition job. During the inspection, they proposed us with the water heater replacement project, and out of good faith and appreciation of them showing up despite the bad air condition in Seattle, I signed. What happened next was the abuse of our trust. For a $950 water heater, I was charged $2434 for installation. For a less than $60 valve, I was charged $1883 for material cost and installation. For 2 bond Gastite pipe including the bonding, the cost is $1560. For a $58.64 expansion tank online I was charged $1023. On the website, the average national cost for water heater installation including the removal of the old unit is around $1500, and this company charged me $13279. Even if I pay the labor by hours with a rate of $140 per hour it still does not add up. The price difference is very suspicious and when I called customer service, twice, nobody could give me an explanation. Even if we say the installation cost for a part is five times the material cost, it is still not even close to half of what I was charged. The parts showed in the breakdown list (with the image) of what is going to be installed is not the same as the ones installed in my house. When I asked for the breakdown list of the parts before the installation, the documents I received only contains a very general description of the parts. Yes, no model number, no brand name, just pipe of this size with that material type basic description. After the project is done, there is no receipt nor contract. We are currently seeking legal advice regarding the issue. Please contact us if you are interested and also a lawyer or expert in this field.

They immediately identified the leak. Not much work was done but they explained what I should do next and provided incredibly valuable insight.

The repairs were done thoroughly and professionally which is what I expected. I highly recommend this company!

When I asked for service because of a water leak, they gave me a next-day appointment, on Friday. Next day they called and said they couldn't come, but would come between 1 and 7 PM on Tuesday. Waited all afternoon on Tuesday and nothing, not even a call. Wednesday I called to report the failure and was told management would be notified. Thursday afternoon I called and was given an appointment between 1 and 7 PM the next day, Friday. On Friday an expert plumber showed up an hour early and did a marvelous job. Seemed to cost an arm and a leg, but complete and professional, along with good explanations of everything.

I can not get them to finish. I am left with an exposed pipe the length of a bed room wall. The pipe is supposed to be internal to they wall. I paid them in full before they were finished!

One of the few providers who shows up on time for an appointment. Very knowledgeable, super friendly, and priceworthy. Highly recommend.

DO NOT PICK THIS COMPANY!!! Originally scheduled for 6/20/2020 between 8am-Noon. Got reschedule call at approx. 9am saying they had an all day job. Rescheduled for 6/22/2020 between 8am-12pm. After waiting till 11:30am on 6/22/2020, called and asked where the plumber was. Was told that they would find out. At 1:18pm, got a call from Joana saying she is apologizing but no one is able to come out today. Asked to speak to her supervisor and was told I would try. Asked to speak to Dispatch manager and got the same reply. No working kitchen sink, took the day off on vacation to be home to get this done AND although she says I understand,it is apparent that they do not. Waiting for call back from Dispatch supervisor, but not holding my breath.

My experience with Dear Services was outstanding. From the initial call, getting quote set up and actual service done was all very smooth and upfront.

The Plumbing Expert was very knowledgeable and quick work... once he actually arrived. First scheduled day 4hrs behind schedule(I rescheduled). Next day, he showed up but did not have the right equipment to fix my leak. Next day, the system said he will arrive in half-hour, he no-showed. after 3.5 hrs of trying to track him down, it was too late for him to actually arrive to do the work. The next day, he finally arrived on time and did the work. Whew!!

Very fast response time to my online request for assistance. The technician was running late but the company kept me informed of his estimated arrival time. He was friendly, quickly identified the problem, provided short-term and permanent solutions and was sensitive to our budget concerns.I felt the pricing was reasonable. The work was done with care and the leak was quickly repaired. Carl was very professional and thorough and I would definitely call Dear again for plumbing repairs.

Very good on keeping you up to date on status, progress, and step by step work. A little pricey, but still good work.

Carl was great to work with and pretty satisfied with his work. Only problem given the coronavirus Carl did not have mask or gloves and he didn t clean up afterwards. There was dirt and black specks on floor. Dear Services did inform me their workers would be appropriately attired for virus protection. Carl wasn t dressed correctly to prevent spread. I asked him about no mask and gloves and he said I m young and in good health don t have to worry about that!!! This is not just for his protection but the customer. I m 72 with diabetes and HBP. I wore my mask and gloves.

Dear communicated very clearly and very timely. They explained their efforts to stay clean and courteous. The technician was an expert and personable. The work was done in a timely fashion. I really appreciated this service provider.
