Carlos and his team at Deca are exceptional. Obviously I am not the only one who thinks so. They are dependable and trustworthy. They do just what they say they are going to do, and it is very important to them that you are pleased with their work. I hired them when I was going through a lot of changes and selling my home after over 40 years there. They made it so beautiful, I didnâ t want to sell, but I did and it sold quickly because of Decaâ s work. They are very skilled and their work is impeccable. I was very, very pleased. Their prices are fair and reasonable, especially considering the quality. I refer them to all of my friends. I had to move from Dallas for a bit, but am returning. I am glad I know who I can call when I have my new place.

When speaking with painter I specifically asked if two coats would be used. Was told I would be totally happy with work when finished. Everything was sprayed and with only one coat. The paint is wiping right off the walls. I was told touch up paint would be left in the garage and no paint was left. I have noticed that several trim edges were not painted and tried to contact the owner with no response. Not at all happy. When I pointed out that the paint was easily wiping off was told it was because of the color I chose. I’ve owned two homes and have never had such a poor paint job.

I found DECA on HomeAdvisor while searching for a contractor to price out painting my new condo. Carlos from DECA was prompt and came out that week to give me an estimate. What I didn't realize was that Carlos and his team were also full scale remodelers doing flooring, plumbing, electrical (new outlets, ceiling fans, pendant lights, etc.) in addition to painting. I got estimates from 6 firms, and it made the most sense to proceed with Carlos and his team since they could do everything I needed done, within a very short 2-3 week time period. I also thought their estimate was very fair and in line with the others. Plus, his thought process was def aligned with the things I wanted to do, and I got the vibe he would be a good fit for this project. This was my first condo purchase and remodel, and needless to say, we have all heard the stories of contractors that don’t show up, do sloppy work, go way over budget, or disappear after getting some money. I am here to tell you, Carlos and his team at DECA were great from beginning to end. They were there to get the job done, and any issue or questions I had along the way, Carlos was happy to answer or solve, in person or via text. He was also very prompt in all communications. DECA painted my entire place, from doors, to walls & ceilings, and all vents, ripped up and redid my kitchen and bathroom floors, installed a new toilet, bathroom vanity, regrouted my tub, installed ceiling fans, pendant lights, redid my island and counter tops complete with an under mounted sink, and even helped me turn my coat closet into a cocktail/bar closet by removing the door, installing my wine fridge (where he ran new electric for), a quartz countertop (cut from the larger slab I used in kitchen) and painted the interior as I described to him. If they ever had a question or concern, Carlos would text or call me for clarification. I consider myself VERY lucky to have made the right decision in the project. All of his 5 star reviews on this site are legit and well-deserved. I am more than thrilled with the results of his work and would not hesitate to use him in the future. If you are looking for a contractor you can trust, DECA is the place. It's the little things: The last day, as Carlos was finishing up some minor things, I was bumbling around trying to change out the locks on my front door”he noticed I'm not great at anything involving tools, and quickly took over and did it for me. I had some extra materials to take back for a refund at Floor & Decor”he stopped what he was doing, and grabbed boxes of tile, and helped me load them to my car without me asking. Cleaned the place after done -- enough that I could move in without having to worry about it. I had a screen from one of the bedroom windows sitting on the floor, and they popped it into place for me mentioning. Thanks Carlos!

I first reviewed DECA August 20, 2015. Since then Carlos has performed many tasks for me from bathroom remodeling, to house painting, fence staining, concrete staining, home maintenance, the list goes on. Hell, this morning he helped me fix the front wheel on my wife's tricycle! Carlos won't tell you, but he recently did volunteer work with his church in Houston in the aftermath of the massive flooding. We are selling our home and downsizing to a two bedroom apartment in Denton and that's the only reason we are ending our professional relationship with Carlos. Carlos is more than a top-notch professional in all aspects of home remodeling and maintenance, he is a good man; they don't come any better. We will miss him and his crews. Thank you, Carlos.

Deca Paint & Repair is the best! They painted the entire exterior and interior of our home. They did an excellent and very professional job and aimed to please. They stayed with the project and worked hard. Carlos was very patient with me throughout the entire project. The painters are very experienced and do an outstanding job. Carlos also installed all new plumbing fixtures in all my bathrooms, new glass shower doors, repaired flooring throughout our home, changed out electrical outlets and switches, replaced most of the hardware in our house, replaced worn carpet, repaired cracks on exterior of home, power washed, repaired rotted window sills, and did other handyman jobs that were needed to be done to update our home. Truly, Deca Paint and Repair aims to please! We're so grateful we found them!

We had a slab leak and it ruined our floors. We looked and looked for a contractor that we felt we could work with and we believed was reliable. After talking with five contractors and receiving their bids, we decided on Carlos. Carlos and crew were awesome! We accepted his bid and they started the next day! We had a time crunch because of visitors coming and Carlos worked on Thanksgiving morning so that our company could come to a home where they would be comfortable. Carlos went with us to the supplier to help us purchase the necessary materials. They did the sheetrock and painting, laying the new floors, and the baseboards. It was so stress free having one person looking after the whole project. We couldn't be more pleased with Carlos and team! We would give him a six-star rating but we are pleased to make it a five across the board as that is as high as we can go!!!

Our landlord used Carlos and his crew to do mostly repair work on our rental home for years. We were always very impressed with him, so when we bought our own home last month, we hired him the day we closed! Not only were they able to start a big interior painting job quickly, they finished it in one day. His crew did a beautiful, high-quality job. They were respectful, professional, nice guys. We will use Deca for all of our paint and repair needs in the future.

Carlos and his team did a great job! There was drywall work interior painting, along with installation of new lighting. Carlos had some recommendations for the lighting which was a big help to me. All the work was done on time, and Carlos worked very hard to keep this project in my budget. I will be using Deca Paint & Repair for my future projects. They are a great find! Richard R. Carlos was very punctual and professional. He came out and did an estimate on a baseboard installation for our office, and gave a fair and honest price. We thought they were very quick and efficient with their work. Very impeccable customer service, and always responded to phone calls and emails within a timely manner. We are very satisfied customers!

The reviews for DECA Paint and Restoration on Home Advisors looked too good to be true. When I called and spoke to one of their friendly staff member's, Carlos he was very professional and a great listener. I was putting my house up for sale and needed paint, flooring, and kitchen counter restoration. DECA showed up on time for the consultation and gave me a clear and fair quote. The job was started and completed on time with a beautiful and professional result. I was more than pleasantly surprised with the too good to be true crew of DECA Paint and Restoration.

I highly recommend Deca Paint and Repair! Their quality of work is great!! They are very reasonably priced and stayed within our budget. The owner, Carlos, is a terrific problem solver and provided excellent customer service. They completed our big project in a timely manner. To sum up, Deca Paint and Repair exceeded my expectations! The following is an extensive list of the work they completed on our home: Painted exterior and entire interior; repaired wall cracks; repaired damaged dry wall/sheet rock; installed carpet; installed new flooring in kitchen, dining, utility and powder rooms; resurfaced kitchen counter tops and back splash; re-stained kitchen cabinets; repaired exterior and interior trim; repaired shower tile; repaired bathtub; replaced bathroom faucets; installed new ceiling fans; repaired hole in a door; installed and repaired new door knobs; installed new toilet seats; power washed exterior; cleaned outside and inside of windows on 1st and 2nd floors; and steam cleaned carpet.

Carlos and his team were simply outstanding!!!! Carlos showed up to supervise each and every project. His crew showed up on time and were extremely professional. They replaced 2 doors, painted them, repaired my fence and installed 2 toilets, repaired/replaced siding. I have dealt with MANY contractors over the years and he was the best by far. I would not hesitate to recommend him and plan on using them for future projects!

ABOVE AND BEYOND MY EXPECTATIONS!! Carlos did a great job in my kitchen. From the moment I met him I knew this was the company we would hire. My husband being the business man he is made me look around, Carlos was recommended by a friend so we did our research and no company even compared to them. They are trustworthy and DEPENDENT (which is hard to come by) they do what they say they are going to do. I will do all my home remodeling with Deca Paint and repair.

Carlos and his crew are professional and polite. They are thorough and give great attention to detail, and when they are done, their clean up job is amazing. I have used other contractors previously, but Carlos sets the standard.

Carlos went above and beyond my expectations. He did a beautiful job on installing an exterior garage door. It was a difficult job because of the age of the garage and uneven walls, but you would never now it by looking at the finished product. He is fantastic! He kept in touch with me and let me know what was going on and did not hit me up with any unexpected surprises. I will absolutely use him again and again for all my projects.
