Deck & Patio Living

My husband and I are currently in the middle of a project with this company and literally cannot get them to answer the phone or emails. Our designer is no longer with the company, we were told the reason they are having trouble getting our job done is Trump and the lack of Mexicans. No really, a worker told me that. Our project was started in March, we were told it would take 2-4 weeks max. Our yard is tore up and has been unusable all summer. We had to cancel our daughter s college graduation party. We have even taken to calling the owners personal cell, and even he ignores our calls and emails. About once a month they will respond with different excuses. The last time the owner told us that some measurements were incorrect and the rounded part of the deck had to be reordered. That was 4 weeks ago, no word since, no response to calls or emails. The funny thing is, that excuse was already used in May by another team member. They should really get together and communicate on what excuses/lies they use with the customer. I am horrified this is the service we have received. We researched the company, we thought they were solid. That said, the work they have already completed for us has been well done. The workers that have come out have been amazing and courteous. I have no idea what is really going on with this company , but I suggest looking elsewhere if you value your time.

I did have a sag in the beautiful patio that they build but they came out and repaired it with no questions or hassle. Great service 1 year after the sale. Josh/Joe/Ryan what a team!

This group was very professional and did a quality job in a fast efficient way. They were very thoughtful moving vehicles so we could go in and out and each evening swept and picked up area. I would definitely hire them again

Deck and Patio Living was selected to remove an existing wood retaining wall and rebuild with blocks. All of their personnel were very professional and courteous. Project start date was over two months out from the date contract was accepted; they kept us informed by calling us every Friday regarding the status of our project's start date. There were no changes, and our project started on time. The crew worked hard, and once completed, did a very fine job cleaning up and restoring the surrounding area. Highly recommended for similar projects!

We found Deck and Patio via HomeAdvisor and couldn't be more pleased. They responded quickly and stayed in constant communication throughout the project. Once the project began and they were 6 hours into it, we returned home to discover they had delivered and began to install the wrong color brick. No problem, they removed the work already done and had the right color delivered and still stayed on the time line. As if that were not enough, they began to spread seed once the project was over despite the fact the sales rep had said they would do sod...again no problem, they halted the work and had sod delivered a few days later and installed it. Great company to do business with. Highly recommend them.

Just finished a terrific and challenging job with Deck and Patio Living. John Brown was our main contact, and Ryan and his team were absolutely amazing. Hard working, attention to detail. Tore out an old crumbling patio and retaining wall, built a new wall and laid a new patio as well as provided drainage. Unbelievable work ethic, extreme attention to our requests and complete clean-up after a very difficult access issue. Responded immediately to any and all of our concerns. I would highly recommend this company for any type of landscaping work that you can imagine - they get the job done right and well worth the cost!!!

Wall looks great!

The wall looks good. Guys worked hard. No project manager came by the last day to see if we were satisfied. A few weeks later, a guy came out to take pictures of the wall. we

Due to extreme amounts of rain over an extended period, the project took longer than anticipated. Given the circumstances, the guys did an awesome job in a less than perfect environment. They respected my wife and I as customers and went out of their way to make sure that we understood what they were doing and why. We will be following up in about a month with sealer treatment and know this will be handled in the same professional manner. Already have some ideas for additional projects and will go no further than Deck & Patio Living.

Ryan and Sam were the guys on our project they were so professioal. Kept us up to date every day made some suggestions that improved the over all look. And the wall looks fantastic!! Jake and his crew made this process so easy

The company did everything they said they would, Ryan the crew leader kept us informed of changes that would affect the cost. But the company ended up saving us money with use of material they already had. I would recommend this Kaestners to friends and family!!
