Pre work was excellent, application of stain was sloppy and substandard. Efforts to fix it were half hearted and done only after 6 says of calling and being told they were coming out, when in fact no one ever showed. Finally spoke to owner who proposed to come and look over problem himself to offer realistic solution, he never showed. Acid treatment used to clean wood ended up killing my grass and plants below the deck. Original crew came back and reapplied new stain over old. Deck looks better but still shows signs of sloppy workmanship.

"We are very confused by this review as this client tipped our crew out very generously and when we last spoke with her, she was satisfied with the service. She did have issues with the type of stain that was used last year, which was a water-based stain applied by another company. She ended up choosing the same stain as before, which we believe is what is leading to the uneven look that is described above. We have contacted the client to rectify the situation."

A bit expensive for two guys to essentially sand and stain a deck but overall, a relatively good experience and the deck looks good at this early stage - will be interested to see how durable the job is. Crew was hampered by high winds on two days.

I have worked with DeckTec on 3 other projects. This time they did a bathroom remodel for me and the result is outstanding. I couldn't be happier. DeckTec has the best customer service of any company I've ever worked with. The quality of the work they do plus the excellent customer service is why I keep having them do my home improvement projects.

These guys are the best in the business. You can certainly find cheaper, but you won't find better. If you want an amazing deck and you are willing to pay for the best, these are your guys. I remodeled an entire house and hired various contractors for each job. These guys were the best of all my choices. I have never regretted the decision. Can't say enough about their skills. Hire them. Period.
