Martin and his crew at Basements and Decks R Us are incredible. They converted an unfinished basement into a wonderful in-law suite with an adjacent office area. Communication along the way was excellent, as Martin continually kept us updated, and the advice offered was great. Even the inspections went smoothly, and the inspector’s comment “When things are done right, it’s an easy inspection”, boosted our trust. I cannot say enough. Throughout the project, they were responsive, skilled, efficient, attentive, friendly, and courteous. Oh, and it was finished sooner than anticipated. We would not hesitate to recommend them to others (and we already have) or hire them again.

We just got our basement finished, and were/are pleased with all aspects of the process, from the initial bid and visit to discuss layout, finishes, timeline and prices associated with each option. During the construction all the workers were very courteous and respectful. In the end any issues and communication was prompt and professional. We bought a new to us house Jan 1st & wanted to remodel & finish the basement before moving in when our lease would be up at the end of April. It was a tall order with all that we wanted done & he did not disappoint! Martin is very knowledgeable & willing to explain the process. He was easy to work with & very responsive. His contractors were trustworthy & hardworking. We are very happy with how everything turned out. Some of my favorite parts of what they did was moving our fireplace, closing in the dining room & adding barn doors & a dimensional wall, as well as the bathroom expansion & remodel.
