He's had over a year and numerous calls of mine to fix what he started. he has not fixed it. I made the mistake of hiring these people to do my deck. They did a good job on the deck but they did not waterproof the deck like they promised they would. I'm tired of their excuses. I would not recommend this business.

Could not have had a worse experience. There seemed to be many instances where the wood was improperly cut. When i contacted Mitch to resolve this, was immediately met with a defensive attitude and vulgar language. There were cigarette butts, screws, and chewing tobacco all over my yard. The crew left hand prints all over the siding of my brand new home. The deck is still not correct and Mitch refuses to take care of it, after a week of not answering texts, voicemails, he answered, pretending to not remember who i was, and proceeded to go on a disrespectful drunken rant, again with vulgar language, save yourself the headache and choose an actual professional

Mitch and his team are fabulous! They came to repair my deck which was in disrepair and worked magic. They were neat, clean and respectful of our home. They did exactly what they said they would do and yet it seemed like more. My deck has never looked so good. Thanks Mitch

Mitch and his crew left screws and nails and debris all around my house. When I paid Mitch, I asked him if he would be cleaning this up and he said he would be. Days went by and nothing happened. I tried calling him and his VM was always full. I texted him, but no response. More days went by and I texted him again and finally got a nasty text back from him with vulgarities! It took me off guard and was amazed at how unprofessional he was. All I am asking him to do is come back and finish the job we paid for and what he promised he would do. I would not recommend Mitch or his company to anyone!

"Anthony [name withheld at consumers request] hired my company to refurbish his deck. We completely rebuilt his deck and it turned out beautifully. New cedar and a beautiful Redwood stain. He was super happy with the work and thanked us over and over again. He called me several days later and asked if I could drag a magnet around his property. I gladly agreed but told him that he would need to first clean up the build up of a whole winters worth of dog feces from his 4 large dogs that we had to work in. He became very embarrassed that he had caused his Contractors to work in and around these conditions. My crew cleaned some of it up, which is"

Quite sloppy work. They over-sprayed and got white paint on our home and yard furniture. There was a disagreement on painting a portion of our deck and Mitch immediately launched into profanity and threats telling us his lawyer lives to sue people and that if we didn't pay in full he'd put a lien on our home. Very bad experience.

"-Christopher did have several valid issues at his home, I met with him in person and my crew came out the very next morning and handled all his issues but one. There was overspray on a piece of his deck furniture that was unfortunately unable to be completely cleaned, even though we tried our hardest. I credited Chris back the cost of purchasing a new table and he kept the old one. I feel we did make a mistake but came back and fixed what we needed to and also paid for what could not be repaired. It should be said that Chris was almost 30 days past due on his fairly substantial invoice and this is the only reason a lien was brought up. I feel"

Mitch is very personable, he is vert responsive. He does a great job at explaining all of the options and gives recommendations as to what is the best solution. He is very honest, he does exactly what he says he will do. His cost matches his estimates, no surprise charges. His crew did a great job keeping things cleaned up, and they were very respectful of our property. I would work with Mitch again without any hesitation.

They replaced rotting decking, stained our front façade and re-secured some metal panels that were loose. - Decking: did a very nice job on install, but we found quite a few screws and nails in our parking lot / front walk. - Securing metal panels: Great job, other than the mess mentioned above. - Staining: AWFUL, First I was given a Sitkins brochure to pick the color, then once we got to the time to stain I was told that Sitkins is hard to find and that Menards Pittsburg brand would be used. However when it came to the actual staining, they did not protect the areas not being stained. I ended up with stain on my pained exterior wall that was not being stained, as well as large drips all along my front walkway. First I am told that it's water based and will come off over time, when I insist that they clean up the spots on my walkway, they pressure wash each spot but I still have marks. In short, if they are staining anything, stay away! If they are doing your deck, they do nice work.

Decks Unlimited is very reliable, does excellent work, and is reasonable in price. they repaired a sagging deck for me as bid, The workmen were very experienced, no wasted effort or motion, and completed the repair much faster than I would have imagined. They do A+ work. I will hire them again in a heartbeat if I need another deck repair.

This is the second time I have used Mitch do work on my home. I was so pleased with him the first time, I had no hesitancy hiring him again. This time he made repairs to the exterior of the house to prepare it for sale--replace rotting garbage door trim, repaint exterior trim, replace several widow panes, power wash side of house and pavers. Everything was done at a reasonable price, on time, quietly and cleanly. I was very pleased. Not only that, but once the job was done, I asked him for a recommendation for someone to paint a bay window inside my house and he offered to do it himself for free, even going and buying a can of paint to match a chip from the window himself! Here is a person who is not only a nice, fair, good person, but who goes above and beyond with customer service. I already told him that if my house doesn't sell and I end up staying here, he will be the first person I call for repairs. HIs name is saved in my contacts, for sure. Of note: he does much more than just decks as you can see above.

Mitch was fantastic. He was prompt, professional, very nice person, trustworthy, and hardworking. He responded to my initial inquiry very quickly, met with me, worked with me to do exactly what I was desiring, was on site for the project himself the whole time, and kept in touch with me frequently to keep me abreast of the status as things went along. I was very pleased with the result and would recommend him to anyone. I intend to have him do more work on my home in the spring.

My experience with Mitch and his crew has not been good. While building the deck there were several instances that I had to point out mistakes being made during construction and I felt that if I had not spoke up they would have been left as is....corners not meeting plumb, the cedar wrap around the support starting to separate, terrible looking stain finish with clearly visible brush strokes and obvious areas were no stain was applied, railing posts not plumb, even after all this and after taking payment in full, there are still glaring issues with the stain finish when I asked Mitch if he approved the overall deck and stain work prior to leaving the job he said he did. Perhaps an independent view is needed to come inspect the work as left by Mitch and his crew. Because after speaking face to face with him at his business address I have the feeling he will do little to address my concerns. There was even damaged caused to the frame of my patio door that I pointed out and nothing was done to fix it. Mitch says I have a 3 year warranty, but this is day 1 after the job was supposedly finished. Update - Aug 3, 2016 - Filed suit for damages and breach of contract.

Mitch Gibbs (Owner) did a fantastic job! I designed the 16x16 Cedar (free standing ) deck and needed an expert to work with our city inspector to overcome some barriers, which was impressive as I was at an impasse. Mitch was able to work with the inspector and build to the specifications for this unique site is on a 30 degree slope. Mitch also brought his expertise to frame the deck. Mitch is great to work with and I would recommend Mitch and his team.

Mitch worked extremely hard to make our deck a reality. We ran into numerous glitches with the needed variances and after many attempts and hours of work he promptly refunded our deposit. We will wait until next spring and get the needed meetings and paperwork taken care of over the winter.

Mitch was great to work with, we are loving our deck! They worked quickly and the quality of work is top of the line! They handled all of the building permit work, we never had to deal with that, which was very convenient.
