Delicato was nothing but professional throughout the move. This was the first time I have hired movers and everything went smoothly. The movers were polite. Both of the movers that were assigned to our move arrived on time. They also hustled through the job but took the care not to damage our belongings or the walls. The Joe and the office staff were great to work with as well. The job was finished right on time and budget. I would highly recommend.

If anything was left undone or you have any damage please contact us to schedule a service call. We always repair any damage that may occur during a move and your satisfaction if important to us."

Beware! Delicato damaged my furniture and grossly underestimated the amount of time it would take, despite Joe claiming to be "extremely accurate with his estimates". The movers lied to me about a missing piece that they didn't remember moving, which I later found smashed in a dumpster, they covered up cracks on another piece with movers���������������� tape, and another piece went missing altogether without explanation. The Service Contract was not even followed appropriately (i.e.I have photos of my mattresses that were not protected with plastic, resulting in holes & dirt stains).

"Delicato Transport Moving and Storage has dozens of reviews all at 4 or 5 stars and has been in business for 9 years. We have a A+ rating with the BBB and thousands of satisfied customers. This reviewer who declines to include her name did have some damage on her move unfortunately but when we attempted to make repairs and provide compensation she declined and decided to sue us. When she lost and was awarded the compensation that I had offered because it was fair and equitable she was dissatisfied and has written this review out of frustration. Sometime things happen on a move but we always do everything in our power to satisfy our customers."

I would absolutely recommend Delicato Transport to friends, colleagues or anyone I know looking to move. Joe came in and gave me a very reasonable price. I was extremely impressed with the professionalism of the movers and their consistent communication throughout the process. They also took very good care of all my items and helped me unpack!!! How incredible is that. I have worked with several movers over the years in various states and they do not even compare in the very least to Delicato. I have had things damaged by movers in the past but not Delicato. They even accommodated my early morning move schedule and were at my place at 6:45am!

They arrived within an hour of the scheduled time, which worked out fine. The foreman was very friendly and personable, and the first crew very professional, but in the end, they took a really long time on the packing. Two other guys came to help with the actual loading and unloading. They were surly and pretty rude. Most of the move went smoothly, although I got slight damage to a nightstand and kitchen table (scratches on the top) and a stain on my mattress. Joe came by to try and buff out the scratches (unsuccessful) and bleach the stain out of the mattress (successful). The move ended up costing about 25% more than the estimate.

tHE MOVERS DID A TERRIFIC JOB. THEY ARRIVED ON TIME AND WORKED DILIGENTLY. THEY WERE ALL GENTLEMEN. NOTHING WAS LOST OR BROKEN. THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAD WAS THAT THEY DID LEAVE SOME THINGS BEHIND IN A CLOSET, AND MY VACUUM. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.

Initial binding estimate was very thorough and Joe was very courteous and professional. I will update rating after the move next week. Well, it turns out the initial estimate on time was a little on time side, as it took us all day and most of the night to move. However the crew was excellent - courteous, careful with our belongings and saw the job thru to the end. And the owner did abide by his agreement not to exceed the estimated price by 15%. Next time I will have a crew show up to pre-pack the day before and move the next day, and the next time it will be Delicato Transport again.

It was a great company to deal with! They made me feel comfortable in a situation that is always stressful. The communication was excellent, the cost was reasonable and there were no surprise expenses! The team arrived on time. They were friendly and extremely professional! Our furniture (some treasured antiques) were wrapped up into padded cocoons with no worries about any damage. They guys were gentle and accomodating when everything arrived at the new location. I would recommend Joe and the Delicato team without reservation! This is the second time I have used Service Magic and both times have been extremely pleased!

They rescheduled around our closing date several times without a hassle. I would recommend this company to any of my family or friends needing to move. came in with comparable quote but did so by coming to my home to see what was there rather than by just asking on the phone or completing a checklist of items. some confusion about the time crew was to arrive. when they did they worked quickly and professionally to load and unload the truck. Maybe because i didn't know exactly where to place some of my furniture, other than in specific room, the time was 1 1/2 hour less than the estimate. so i was pleased to save some money. Thank you. Both movers were excellent. They were kind considerate and caring treating us like family and taking the time to do the job yet get it done quickly. The quote that Joe gave us for the original move was right in there. I am considering my next move to be to FL. I will use them for it, I feel part of the Delicato Transport family already. If you want a good price, your stuff packed right and the move done quick, consider only 1 mover, that's Delicato Transport. Happy moving
