What a hard worker Dale Miller was. I had 20+ years of wallpaper in my kitchen that needed to come off. It was soooo heavily pasted on. His work was amazing and perfect and he cleaned up the area when he was finished. In addition, he was professional and personable, and his price was extremely fair. Thank you!

Dale Miller is a nice man, but as a painting contractor the worst I've ever hired. Not sure why he got 4.5 star reviews so it leaves me to wonder if they are legitimate. I was so angry when I saw the results after he was paid that I could not bring myself to allow him back in my house to correct all of the flaws, but now I wished I had made him make it all right after paying him $2,000.00 of my hard earned money. The worst was in my master bedroom where he removed two walls of wallpaper and painted those walls. I spent 8 hours at age 71 years old going up and down a ladder just in my master bedroom trying to paint about 60 spots that were missed, spackle spots that were missed or gaps not even painted under the window sills and trying to put a straight edge at the ceiling line. He even left a small strip of wallpaper in the corner of the room by a doorway and just painted over the wallpaper! The kitchen ceiling and two walls in the family room were not much better and needed touch ups. Plus he was messy with not using enough drop cloths on the hard floor areas leaving a lot of white dust for me to clean up afterwards. I thought by hiring someone from Home Advisor where contractors are vetted and reviews are noted that I would be able to find someone who knew what they were doing. All in all this was not a pleasant experience and I would not recommend anyone else hiring this contractor.

Dale Miller is a very qualified and professional painter and did an outstanding job on our Chesapeake home. He also did some small repairs and put on a storm door. We were very pleased with his work and will be looking forward to working with him again!

I hired Dale to fix multiple drywall blemishes in two rooms around 300 sq ft., drywall a few walls and finish a laundry room, and paint all the rooms to finally complete an unfinished downstairs floor. Dale assured me he could do the job at a fair price and provided examples of previous work and also had a great rating on Home Advisor. I would not recommend Dale to do any drywall repair or hanging of drywall. The painting was also mediocre. I hired Dale to finish my lower floor in time for Christmas 2015. Dale said the nail holes and previous spackling jobs needed what’s called a level three process. Unfortunately he painted over the unsanded level three, over spackle on the trim, and over silicon on the baseboard. He did such a horrendous job that I rented a disk sander from Home Depot and sanded all of the walls and much of the ceiling that Dale drywalled and painted. Luckily I realized I could not fix the mess and contacted a local painter to help. Thankfully he did not charge me as much as Dale. The second contractor had to skim coat all the walls just all of Dale’s work. Thankfully these guys knew how to drywall and paint! If you are ok with visible drywall patches, lap lines, drips, and good stories then hire Dale.

Mr. Miller did the nicest job painting our home.. He was very professional. He was prompt and extremely courteous, and answered all my questions I had regarding the job he was doing. He is a perfectionist and his work shows it. I have recommended him to several friends in which I hope the hire him when they need painting done. Mr. Miller also does other jobs, like fixing part of the flashing that blew down and never charged me for it. I will hire him again and again as my husband and I were extremely pleased by the work he did. Thank you Dale Miller!

I had my entire Condo painted. Dale was easy to get along with and he listened to my needs. He made recommendations that made sense and I did them. He was very meticulous with his work. He took his time to ensure quality of his work. I will be calling him in the future.

Total remodel including an entire refreshed kitchen, three bathroom gut and remodels, Carpeting, patch work and painting on the walls, plumbing, ac/heat pump replacement/repair and door installations. Dale painted our old dingy wood cabinets like new replaced the old counter tops and installed all light fixtures throughout the rest of the home, painted our living room walls and base boards and revived our bathrooms replacing all toilets sinks tub and shower stalls and even reconfiguring one bathroom with a totally new layout to gain more usable space. EXCELLENT JOB! The right guy for any job!

After much delay, my basement was finished ( Dale Miller told me he would be here on a Wednesday to start working. Wednesday would come and go, and Dale Miller never showed up, and never called. This went on for a month!) The drywall guy (Gordon) was wonderful. Once the drywall was delivered, the work went smoothly. The project was finished 7/5/07, and as of 7/15/07 (10 days later) there is still construction debris and trash sitting outside my basement door. I left a message, and sent an email, but have not gotten any response. The finished project turned out wonderful, despite the slow start.

They are very meticulous and a pleasure to work with. I will definitely use them again. They are professional and very responsive along with providing quality and value.

Dale Miller Contracting completed my drywall in my basement and painted. The project was completed well in a timely manner and at a decent price. I would recommend the company to my friends and family.

The work has not yet commenced yet but a contract was entered into wherein Mr. Miller is to do the molding sometime at the end of February or early March. Thanks for recommending Mr. Miller.

Very thorough and courteous, even showed my husband a few tricks for installing other molding. Even requested quotes for other work not originally planned.
