Laminate Wood or Stone Flooring - Install
The first installer to patch my kitchen floor was given the wrong information about the project and did not have the crew ready and available. After going over the details of what needed done with him, and rescheduling for the next day, a different crew arrived. Because the provided flooring was a different thickness, they had to replace the entire floor. I had the materials for that. They did a good job of laying the new laminate, however they cut the boards too narrow in places so seams to the kick plates show. The kick plates were not replaced properly and I'm still trying to figure that out. May have to have Ikea out to help. Dishwasher is no longer level. Ikea drawers do not close easily (soft close) due to mis-leveling of floor. Frig water line was not turned on. When I pulled frig to turn it on, saw that quarter round was not replaced - there was plenty of material available. A corner quarter round was very sloppily glued rather than nailed. Overall, lack of attention to detail. My kitchen doesn't feel the same. Very disappointed.
