Driveway is total crap cracked within the first year and more cracks the second year
I would not use this installer to put in your driveway. He assured me I would have no cracks. Also, the driveway was ponding all over and their cure to try and fix it, made it look even worse. Do not hire this contractor
Trying to upload photos, but they are too big to show on this site. Again, do not hire this contractor.

They were johnny-on-the-spot. They were personable. They brought enough crew and appropriate machinery to do the job right, and they were in and out the same day. They even helped me clean up a project I was working on myself!

3" blacktop overlay was decent. Whatever you do, don't hire the kid to seal the blacktop when he comes begging one year after the blacktop install. Amateur sealing at best. You'd get better results hiring an 8th grader. He did NOT remove overgrown grass laying on blacktop edges and just sprayed the grass around all the edges leaving blacktop underneath untouched. They use an INFERIOR product with a sprayer and no brushing to fill in the voids. Looked great for 3 months then you can see swirls left by the sprayer and was downright embarrassing when company came over. Promised to come back in a couple weeks to fill in the warranty cracks but ended up ghosting us and never returning our calls. He took the money and ran. Homeowners BEWARE. Don't bother responding Howie, your son Matt is an embarrassment to your company.

Howard was really good with my quote and any questions that I had. They finished my driveway in about 5 hours and that includes tearing out my old concrete drive. The area was 2000 square feet, I was very impressed with quality and how fast it was done

Asphalt Paving Installation
We hired this company in October of 2021 to complete our driveway. They pushed back the start date multiple times due to availability and weather. The installers were quick, but they cut the electric fence by accident and other electrical wires that were along the driveway. They did reconnect the fence, but all the other damaged lines were not repaired. The job was not complete. The driveway was crumbling for the first couple of weeks, which led to months of crumbling. The pavement was all over the place, and craters were starting. Howard claimed they would be back to complete it. We called and called and sent text messages. He had an excuse every time and then eventually went silent. I definitely do not think this is an active company, and I feel we were scammed. The slope and unevenness are very frustrating, and after spending thousands and thousands of dollars, we have to hire someone to fix the work. I would never recommend this company. Our driveway is a crumbling mess.
Response from Deluxe Paving
"Hello, my name is Howard and I am with Deluxe Paving. First let me say that we are a functioning professional paving company, we are still in operation as we?ve been for decades. In truth this is the first I?ve heard of any electrical wires. When we remove driveways we don?t go lower than the base level. It would be impossible to cut electrical wires at that level as electrical wires are buried at least 6 inches to a foot deep. Also small residential driveways aren?t made for daily commercial grade skid steers to drive over, the repeated 360° turning can cause damage. We are able to build driveways for such use but it requires a commercial"

After 10 days plus calling to get them to return to complete job and no response is unprofessional! It looks like I will have to call someone else to finish, more $ very disappointed.

Well worth the price. I had my driveway resurfaced. They were timely and finished the job quickly. They took care to ensure that there was no damage or asphalt spillover onto the garage structure and brick sidewalk and patio. My neighbors were so impressed they had them resurface their driveway too.

Disappointing. Extended my driveway a bit while redoing it. Promised it would sink, it did. Promised that if it did sink they would repair, they won?t. Their crew damaged my house while working and they have had 10 mo this to repair the drive. Looked good to start. Incredibly poor follow up work.

I had been looking for a quality company to install an asphalt driveway at a good price. Deluxe was just that company. They followed up promptly when I sent the request for a quote, they were very accommodating with my schedule to come see the job, they explained the work thoroughly, they provided me with ideas to give my home more curb appeal and the job was done on time -exactly the way I expected. Thanks Deluxe, you have a very happy customer!!

It has been 5 months I have been trying to get them to repair the work they did on our driveway. It is guaranteed but they do not care about that. They promise days and they do not show up without any call and do not return calls. They came out once and said they did not have enough material with them to repair, came out weeks later and only repaired a tiny strip that did not fix the issue and again they are not following thru. Told me they lose money when they come for repairs! We paid them $4,800 as soon as they were initially done and then they could care less. They are terrible! Do not do it!
Response from Deluxe Paving
"We installed this driveway as an overlay, which had a very tricky pitch for water flow. The water didn't completely run off the driveway. So we sent the crew out for repair, the water now runs but slowly. It is not to the homeowners liking so it's not to our liking either. We want our customers to be satisfied. So we planned to come back out last week to try a different option for repair... Sadly, during that week, we had a newborn baby in the family die and had to make funeral arrangements. I let the homeowner know, that we wouldn't be able to make it out because we were at the funeral for the baby.. it was at that time on that day..."

I paid $19K for a new driveway with Deluxe August 2019, I have a 2 year warranty, we need warranty work repaired from them, I have called, texted, left voice mails, they have 3-4 phone numbers, some of them have full VM's. I did speak to someone 2 times and both times they promised to be right out with no follow up and no one to fix their problems. terrible customer service after the sale, once they have your money they are ghosts.
Response from Deluxe Paving
"Sorry, Jeff for the delay. We are not ghosts, we have just unfortunately been dealing with a couple of deaths in the family and things have not ran as smoothly as it normally does. 2020 has brought us a lot of uncertainty from day to day but we will not abandon our commitments. Not only will we honor our warranty on the driveway by fixing the areas of concern, we are also pleased to extend the warranty another year! We will see you soon! Thanks - Howard"

Deluxe removed our old driveway and installed the new last week and did an incredible job. We had drainage issues even though we have an existing drain. They reinstalled the drain and by way of slightly changing grades, we have solved the major issue. Didn't take long to find out if it worked properly, last night we have an epic downpour and NO MORE ISSUES. Great communication leading up to the install and the entire crew was fantastic.

I can understand why Deluxe Paving has such excellent ratings! I have a large driveway that they removed and replaced. I felt very comfortable working with Howard through the entire process. Howard and his team did an outstanding job and I would definitely recommend them to my family and friends.
