It was almost a laughable experience... the kid walked in after showing up late, went to my washer, unplugged it and plugged it back in and opened the door saw the tub filled with water and went "yup its broke, it would just be easier to get a new washer". And bam $85 dollar charge. It was almost laughable. In and out in under 8 minutes. Don't bother calling and just get a new appliance, it would have saved me $85 bucks towards a new washer.

[Consumer name withheld at their request]...first my apologizes ...WE ARE A FAMILY OWNED AND RUN BUSINESS AND ALWAYS DO WHAT WE CAN TO SATISFY ALL CUSTOMERS. Let me start by saying that "the kid" who is 21 and my son has watched me as a tech since I started my business 27 yrs ago...I think he was 18 months when I had a wrench in his hands, so to fault someone because he looks like a " a kid" and to fault him for his knowledge of diagnosing in a short time period is not a fair assumption. Between a board and a pump the cost of those two parts alone you could get a new machine, and that is if there were no underlying issues when he had it apart...when someone calls and asks us what we think, that's a hard question to answer, the unit can have a small issue and for that same $85.00 we prevented from a consumer throwing out a good unit that needed an adjustment as opposed in your case, you spent the same $85.00 and we told you the best option would be a new unit, meaning we as a company would not want you to put good money into bad, it does not make sense...but if your unit could have been adjusted for the same $85.00 this post you wrote would be completely different. Again, my apologizes, if I can assist you in any way please feel free to contact me at the office, I will also offer you a discount on a future repair should you decide to use us again. Thank you for choosing my company and look forward to working with you in the future...Steve

The rep from Dependable was professional and friendly. He called to let me know he was on his way. When he arrived, He turned on the washer and dryer, listened and told me they could not be fixed, charged me $200 and tried to sell me new appliances...

They ordered part during estimate and called me back in a timely fashion when it was received. Installed replacement part for stove. Able to use stove again and 3 of the burners. The 4th burner that they fixed is technically fixed but it is not useable.
