Very good with driveway. Not so good with the porch and sidewalk. Their forms were off and when calling Mike Richardson, he was very agitated and difficult to deal with, but his crew did fix these problems. As far as pouring the forms, the crew left too much space between the forms and the concrete oozed out. This left large chunks of concrete around our front porch, which was above the mulch and they refused to come back and remove it. The DuPage County inspector thought this was unacceptable, but we had already paid Dependable and they refused to take responsibility. I would suggest holding a sizeable chunk back until everything has dried, forms removed with final payment provided after the inspection. They also did not allow for the overhang on the front porch and when trying to remove the large chunks of concrete from the poorly aligned forms, the corner of the front porch cracked. Also, cracks in other areas of the porch within 3-4 months of the installation. We can provide pictures if it would be helpful. This job was done about 3 years ago. If you use this company, have very strictly defined detail for the Scope of Work and payment schedules that work to your satisfaction, when all work is completed.

Mike's crew tore out existing asphalt drive and installed new concrete stoop, drive and patio. Work was excellent quality, and done without delay. Would recommend to anyone.

They seem to get the big things right but once you've committed to them, communication stops. They will say anything, including "I'm a Christian" and "This is going to look so good, I'd like to put a sign Out". It's just words. They do not respect your property. Deck was damaged. Said they'd come and look at it. They didn't. Said they'd come and patch a hole in the foundation. They didn't. I'd hold final payment back until you're 100% satisfied or you'll never see them again.

Some of the workmen were amazingly skilled & kind; but communication, timing& quality were problems. When told, "Call by Tues. if ready & we can probabky start Thurs/Fri.", called Monday-am-"Ready". 3 WEEKS LATER they start. After driveway/garage floor tear up & as ready to pour garage cement was told price was an EXTRA $900 due to CEO error in his proposal. Compromised & paid an additional $450. Crumbled edges, holes, non-connecting grooves-(causes water retention & freeze cracks) all exist. Woodridge resident

Promptly received a detailed estimate from this contractor. Had to put the project on hold, but went back to them a year later and they honored the original estimate. Showed up precisely on time and completed the job in two days. The driveway looks great. Can't say enough good things about this company.

Came at scheduled day that they say they will do the driveway. Excellent price. Only problem is that on the proposal, it says that credit card is acceptable but come payment time, we were told that if we use credit card, they will charge us back for credit card charges. I had to pay with check since I don't want to pay the credit card charges. Not completely done yet. I don't know if they had applied the seal on the concrete and they still have to pick up the wood that they used on the sides.

Dependable Concrete definitely lived up to its name, they did very good work, cleaned up each day, and left us with a great looking new driveway. My only negative was his crew being very late on the first day due to mechanical problems with the trucks. I have already recommended them to some neighbors.

The guys who did the job where very professional and did a great job. I did not like the son attitude "Mike" although his dad who gave me the estimate where very nice. I think Mike have some personality issues. Thank you guys for the great job, and for Mike I hope you treat your clinets with respect and dignity.

Dependable was prompt, had excellent follow up with their estimate, provided references and addresses in the area so we could see their work, and when contracted was thorough, neat and responsive. We are glad we selected them, and would use them again.

As its name, ti is dependable. My driveway replacement is an annoying story, village hall and inspector actually were trouble maker, they add extra work on the project. Fortunately Dependable handled very well and make project done perfectly without much extra cost added. Good quality and reasonable charge, I recommend it to you.

showed up on time/very professional/high quality product(4000psi concrete). completed on time. Very good and competitive price. Had 6 contractors come out and only 3 could figure out how to send me an estimate and references! One even wanted to be paid B-4 the work started.

Dependable Concrete is "DEPENDABLE". Their crew was extremely hard-working, efficient, and timely. They did a superb job and their California finish was at no extra cost. The entire replacement of our driveway and service walkway was completed in 2 days, plus their clean-up was impeccable. We would highly recommend this contractor as he is reasonably priced, professional & delivered what he promised. They were also a pleasure to work with!

They were very courteous thoughout the whole process. I felt like they gave me a very fair and honest price. The workers on the actual day of the project were on time, worked hard and finished in a reasonable amount of time. I would definitely use them again. My only complaint was that I felt they didn't take good notes from our first meeting. I had to keep going over exactly what I wanted with various employees and on the day of the actual job. But in the end they did beautiful work that exceeded my expectations.

They we're on time and did a nice job. The only issue I had that I'm not sure was there's is that the second truck of concrete was a different shade of white so mid driveway the color gets darker and wasnt blended in to the previous poor.

They put in a parking pad for us, did the work promptly and it looks great.

Very unprofessional, but quality of work was acceptable. He didn't read the contract and had to be told what was written. He was unhappy with what was on the contract and indicated his coworkers should not have written it with some of the job specifications. He did not want to turn the background TV down when we called him, despite the difficulty we had hearing each other. He also wanted his money before the job was completely done.

They came out when they said they would. Did a great job.
