September 2018 I had Derby City Paving re pave my driveway. In less than a year it had cracks. I had them deal the drive in July. I pointed out cracks and they said the dealer would fill them in. Well the dealer did not till the cracks. I called their number and all I got was a recording. I left a message about the problem with my number and did not receive a call back. I have since called back and still get a recording. I paid cash for both the driveway re pave and the re seal. My mistake. Anyway looks like I will have to correct the problem myself. I am a retired disabled veteran. Choose carefully who you hire.

They did a decent job but there were several flaws in the driveway that were cosmetically unacceptable. They did not want to correct them but they did offer me a discount on sealing the driveway next season.

They responded quickly and began work the following week. One issue was that there was irregular grading. There are rain puddles now on driveway. Was told that is how it is in Florida. Feel that this company is not experienced enough. Owner apologized for employees strewing garbage around, and for big ruts left by bobcat in front of treeline.

Derby City Paving did an excellent job on paving my driveway. They were fast and efficient and my driveway looks really good. We had a little difficulty getting our schedules together but all in all it was a very good experience.

I asked them if they could get it completed while we were on vacation, and they did with no problems !!! Very satisfied !!! It was a nice job when they sealed my driveway. The only problem, it didn't last a year. The sealer is just about gone. I'd never hire them again.

"Sealcoating is intended as a protective coat; not as crack filler or leveling material. Sealer is only as good as the asphalt pavement to which it is applied. Prevent the cracking of bituminous pavements, which are caused by excessive voids, poor mix stability, insufficient compaction, poor drainage, or low use areas. Mr. Scarborough did not call our office at any point to express his concern. Derby City Paving was not given an opportunity to access the driveway to determine what the ultimate cause of the sealer being "gone.""
