I use Derby Downs to maintain my yard on a regular basis. I hired them just recently after asking my neighbor who transformed their yard to best in the neighborhood. They raved about the service, professionalism, punctuality and great work of Derby Downs and I can attest to all of this now! So happy with my decision to use them. They are a great company doing great work! !

Tony Kennedy and his daughter were the epitomai of professionalism. The walkthrough before the actual job was informative, he let us know what he was going to do, did exactly what he described. Also, if we wanted any other lawn care needs, he can/will provide in the future. I would definitely recommend Derby Downs Grass and Gardens to any and all who need lawn care service.

I love that guy! He started his own business. He and his son did my work last summer and I rehired them this year. I like support local owned businesses in the area. They are in and out within an hour including mowing, weed eating, his prices are very reasonable, and they did a great job. I also like that we can communicate via text.

My yard looks good. He is excellent.

Before hiring Derby Downs we had someone else who was charging way more and providing way less. We were spending all this money and asking ourselves why our lawn was so patchy. We started shopping around and found Derby Downs. If you could see how green our yard is you would be amazed! We are so happy with everything they have done and how green that they have gotten our grass. When we first hired him he really helped to restore our lawn. He asked us if he could try a new treatment on our lawn to see if it would restore the patches. He told us that he wasn't going to charge us for the treatment and he would fix our lawn if it caused any problems. luckily it worked phenomenal and restored the damage the other company had done and he stayed true to his word. and he didn't charge us for the treatment! He is very flexible with payment and accepts numerous methods of payment that are easy to work - for us we simply Venmo him when it is time to pay. He is also very organized and sends a pdf invoice with dates of service and gives records of everything he has done so we have that for our files. He is not out here to price gouge either. He just called us earlier today saying he would not be cutting our grass because we got heavy rain and he didn't want to damage our lawn. His communication is very good and he cares about making sure the lawn looks great and not just doing the service to charge a fee. The previous company we had would always come out after heavy rain. Now that we know that can damage our lawn we feel as though our previous company was just there to charge us for the service. Another great perk is that he has been doing continued education to learn what the most recent and best treatments for lawns are so he is very up to date. His equipment is also top notch. Flat out he is a good guy, personable, and he takes care of us!
