Aaron's home repair contacted me immediately via phone call once I placed the ad on Angi. This was on 08/03/2026. He came out to my place and stated he would text me with the price of labor and materials. Aaron said the following items were $1,860. Unpainted (factory primed) French door and materials. Aaron said the labor to complete the project cost $1,075.00. Aaron agreed to come to work on 08/06/2026 at 9am. At this time I paid the $1,860 via Zelle to ensure the work started and the materials were paid for. Aaron texted me on Friday morning explaining he had become ill and could not make it. Aaron contacted me Friday evening and said he could come on Saturday 08/08/2026. On Saturday I called Aaron and explained it was raining and the job could wait. Aaron came and installed the door in the rain, At this time the door got rained on and was laid down in the yard. Aaron installed the door. The door has several nicks and scratches in the door. I explained to Aaron this was an issue. Aaron said caulking the nick would fix it. This did not fix the issue. I explained to Aaron the outside thresh hold was loose. Aaron said caulk would fix this. This threshold outside is loose and caulk has not fixed it. My door opens and closes but the handle has to be lifted to ensure the dead bolt engages. I also asked Aaron for the door receipt so if I needed to warranty the LIFETIME WARRANTY for the curtains I could. Aaron told me to just call him. I insisted on a door receipt and was told he could draw up an invoice. I again insisted on the door receipt in the event the curtain failed and I needed the LIFETIME WARRENTY receipt. Aaron said he would attempt to get it and email it to me. This has not occurred. When it came to discuss final payment Aaron added in an extra $25.00 for a PVC board he said he had to buy. Lastly the center post cap of the door was cracked by Aaron. I was told by Aaron this could be fixed by caulk, or he could return to where he purchased this door and get another cap however he stated it wasn't really necessary. I insisted on another cap. I believe Aaron bought a returned/used door at a discount price and charged me full price. This is the reason he will not provide the receipt for the door.

Aaron installed two doors which were not just basic doors. Aaron has superior skills, exceptional professionalism, precise, punctual, meticulous, and simply exemplary in every way!!! We will be using him for other projects to come.

The vendor was polite and came when he said, he also cleaned up after himself. We were having an exterior door replaced. There ended up being an additional cost that we were not told about ahead of time. Also, the door from home Depot was missing some hole plugs for one of the doors and the vendor said that we would have to go to Home Depot and figure it out ourselves. Considering we spent almost $1,000 for the installation itself, I do not expect to have to finish the job myself. I texted the vendor and asked for him to finish the installation and he never responded. I would recommend going with a different vendor.
