Derek actually was the one to do the work and he installed an outlet in my garage where the GFI trips with just a single refrigerator plugged in. We have had to throw out food twice because the GFI tripped overnight and shut the fridge off. Then he broke a fused light in my other freezer and was going to order a replacement for that with another light fixture plate cover for the other job we paid him for. He was supposed to come back out and finish the job once he received those items but he just stopped answering my calls or texts. So we are out $400+ and neither job was completed or done right. Do not trust this guy. He will try to tell you about beating other electrician prices but he will screw you over like he did me and my family.

Derek was super quick to follow-up for a free quote and then was really easy to work with. He worked fast and cleanly. We had him install two electrical boxes in our kitchen for some pendant lights. Would recommend Derek for any home electrical needs.

DO NOT HIRED DEREK THE ELECTRICIAN! I thought I was getting a good deal turns out he got a great deal. He took my money and ran. He had his girlfriend there assisting him (who is not certified but she s been doing this for years he said) with their what looked like a 6 month old child in my house with no heat at that time. Derek gave his word that he would be back to complete everything, never showed back up after he recieved the check. The only way I was able to get Derek back to my house was promise of more money for the same project that he started and did not finish. When he showed up (an hour and a half after he said he would be there) he only brought in his booklet to charge me more. His price started off at $1650 on the initial walk through. Then it went to $4000 down to $3250 (he said that he should be charging me $8600) when he showed up to work. Derek wanted to charge me $1577 more because the wires were not up to code just in the kitchen and front room when the entire house hold has the same wires running throughout. I have several plugs that are not complete and hanging out of the wall. His girlfriend was working in the front room and now that entire wall does not work FYI it worked before plugs in were exchanged. I am a new home owner and now I am out a lot of money and have to be out even more money because he is not doing the job I paid him to complete. Listen to my warning! DO NOT HIRE DEREK

Overall bad experience. Score of work needed doubled with price doubling day job started. Left inside of gone muddy mess. Derek applied for a permit in another companies name and never paid it. I had to pay for permit 5 days after his work completed for utility company to finish their work. Derek not forthright on when he would do the work, vague statements saying he would handle it, but not come through. In general the work he did worked out ok, but the entire experience was handled poorly and unprofessional.

He didnt remember my appt. He then told me that a 9-11am appt really means that he'll show up at noon. He immediately tried to upsell on something I didnt even ask for. He didnt explain to me what my concern/issue was. And he overcharged me for what he did. I posted an honest review of his work and tactics before and once he saw it, he called me and threatened me to take it down. Then he started sending threatening texts and called me derogatory names because he didn't like my review. This guy is a liar and a poor businessman. For someone just starting out, he needs to learn how to take criticism. He needs to learn customer service and customer relations. Derek is NOT someone I would recommend. I am unhappy with his work and the way he treated me. DO NOT USE Derek the electrician

Derek was great. He was on time. Very responsive to setting up the initial walk through and let us know when he was going to be at our house. He got the job done very quick and professionally installed. He started picking up equipment the day we agreed to use him on the project. He finished on time and stayed late to make sure that it was completed on time.
