Derricks Landscaping & Irrigation

I am totally pleased with our project. This is the first time using Home Advisor and Derrick's Landscaping called me within 15 minutes and he arrived at our house 30 minutes later. Derrick did an outstanding job and I would highly recommend him for all your landscaping needs. Beautiful St Augustine lawn is finished with irrigation system adjusted. You need to use this man!!!

Tuesday 2/20/18 Derrick and his crew came bank out and reinstalled the french drain. He has very professional and insisted I call to let him know how the drain is working.

They did great work! We were so pleased with the results, all cleaned up after they left and by the deadline we agreed upon. I will use them again and again!

I hired them when my son was oversees. I had to manage this project from CA and the house is in GA. I thought they did a good job except that they said they would take pictrues each time they mowed and sometimes they forgot.

Do not hire. Derrick and his crew do not respect their clients time, he showed up a day and a half later than he said. He was not equipped for the job, actually asked to use our ladder (liability). He is not educated on how to cut limbs/trees, just blindly chainsaws everything. He cut down the wrong tree, he cut down a beautiful crepe Myrtle instead of a dead tree. He made no effort (like tie a rope to limb) to prevent a limb from falling on my fence, so my fence and gate are broken, wrong tree cut down, debris all over yard. I would not allow his crew to finish job. I can't believe he is on home advisor.

Derrick arrived Saturday morning calling before to check I was home. We discussed the options for my project and after agreeing the way forward the work was completed the same day. Very happy with the results.

Called Derrick to set up a spring clean up and yard service. He was at my house within an hour of the phone call, walked around my yard, and gave me an estimate for the work. Did the first service while we were away visiting family for the weekend - great work! I chose Derrick's because of the great reviews on here. Well, I wholeheartedly agree with them!!!

Initially I wad impressed with Derrick. Then on the first day of work he was late and not a few minutes hours without any communication. The third day he never came at all again no communication, after that his work schedule was hit or miss. The work was not up to code and no permit was obtained for the well or the irrigation that was installed. The electrical wire to our pool was damaged, the drain for our washing machine was crushed and the electric for our pump was not installed properly. Derrick did bring in an electrician for the pump install after a home inspector told him it was unacceptable. I hired a plumber and and electrician to fix the damage he has caused. He never gave me a written contract as promised and it has been a month since this nightmare had began and it still not resolved. I wish I never would have hired him.

Trees were safely removed or trimmed by well trained workers.

Derrick was excited to help. He was prompt, efficient, and friendly. Derrick is very knowledgeable of his trade. He gave advice about our lawn & how to better manage our watering of our yard. Derrick did not try to sell us unneeded work. AWESOME! We would definitely hire Derrick again.

I call Derrick at 9:00 AM and by 12:00PM he was at my house to fix my sprinkler system. He was fast and did a great job. I would hire his company again
