Desert Pool Pros

I have a house in La Quint and I hired Desert Pool Pros to clean my pool. My contact Ernesto, recommended that I get an acid wash. The cost was $1,000. He recommended that it should be done every 3 years. I did not notice any difference after the wash until 6 months later when the pool started discoloring. I contacted Ernest and he said I need a light acid wash which would cost $1,300. I then told him they did the acid was 6 months ago. He said he would take a look at it and correct it with stain remover and quoted me around $130 so I told him okay. He never got back to me then I called 2 other pool companies. One company said there was nothing they could do and the other company said hat it appeared to be done improperly and that the acid was left on too long. They quoted $5,710 to resurface the pool because of the damage due to the acid and I shared this with Ernesto. He said they are just trying sell you resurfacing of the pool. He said what I needed was an acid wash and stain remover. I called him again and they said he was on vacation and would come out on Monday and never did. At this point I was totally frustrated with the company giving me the run around and trying to sell my another acid wash. They never acknowledged the damage they did and my pool is in the worst shape it has ever been. If anyone would like to see what my pool looks like after the acid wash and my text with them please contact me at manneymario@yahoo.com

The owner is always available to answer questions and order repairs when necessary.

Very professional and knowledgable about servicing swimming pools. We have had several companies clean our pool in the past and finally had to learn how to service our own pool as we were paying more than the service we were getting. We were very impressed with the professionalism and hard work of Ernesto and Jose. We hired them to clean the pool tile (calcium deposits) and acid wash our pool and it looks amazing. They were on time, communicated with us and cleaned up afterwards. We will definitely be hiring them again.

We had several pool service companies at our home over the past couple of years and all performed substandard work or didn't show up as scheduled or both. We finally got this company and are quite satisfied with them. Ernesto, the boss, has visited our home to discuss problematic issues and service and has been cordial and cooperative. We use this company for both cleaning, repair and other services and are pleased with them. We are happy to recommend them!

Very responsive and made a difficult job easier than I thought it was going to be. My last pool contractor jammed the screw into the light fixture and it was really hard to get out. Then the wire was stuck inside the sleeve but they figured out how to get it out. I didn't even have to drain the pool. Great guys and the owner is very professional. I now have a pool light and I am HAPPY!

Company seems professional and efficient.

This company is very responsive. Their supervisor calls whenever there's an appointment, delay or other abnormality in their schedule. They've been on the job for just a week, but so far, so good.

This is an tremendous company, very responsive and superb customer service. I am very pleased and look forward to using my new backyard patio! Highly recommended!!!

They only have been on the job for one week, but so far, so good.

They were very prompt did what they said they would do and did not hide any fees, everything was known up front and all worked performed was very professional. I hired them permanently for weekly year round service.

Highly attentive and respond effectively to climatic realities of desert surface. i.e. storms, etc
