?? WARNING ? Upselling Over Troubleshooting, and Ongoing Negligence After months of frustration, I'm sharing this so others can make an informed decision before hiring this company. The core issue: my saltwater system wasn't producing chlorine. Rather than properly diagnosing the problem, the team repeatedly added stabilized chlorine ? driving my cyanuric acid level above 100 ppm, which now requires a partial drain to correct. When I pushed for answers, they dismissed a simple fix and instead recommended a full system replacement and conversion to Pentair for over $2,800. I replaced the salt cell myself for $400. The system worked perfectly within minutes. A basic 15-minute diagnostic would have identified a worn-out cell. Instead, I was steered toward an unnecessary $2,800 replacement. While my partnership with Desert Pool Tech began on a good note, it did not continue that way. Of late, i have been experiencing instances of delayed responses. The recent work involving the pool drain was not done per the protocol and it was brought to the notice of the owner. It's sad that what began as a good partnership is now ending on a sour note.
