About us

My name is Kelly Christensen. I opened Desert Spring Garage Door for a few reasons but first and foremost to provide valley residents a reasonable priced, quality, customer service centered alternative to some of the garage door companies in town with inflated profit margins. I believe in treating customers the way that I would like to be. One of the biggest differences between Desert Spring and other garage door companies is that our employees don't work for commission. The commission payment model usually ends up costing customers extra money because it gives garage technicians incentive to charge more. At Desert Spring Garage Door we want to educate and inform our customers so that they can make informed decisions about garage door replacements, repairs and upgrades. Our goal is to make each and every new customer a customer for life and give them the quality product they deserve.

Garage Door Repair
Desert Spring Garage Door did an amazing job converting my old Wayne Dalton garage door torsion bar spring to a conventional coil spring. They arrived right on time and took great care in making sure that I had the correct spring installed. They tested and double checked everything! I am extremely pleased with the results! My garage door is MUCH quieter and runs very smoothly.

Excellent service. Desert Spring inspected and repaired my garage door on the same day that I called. I was expecting to need to replace the bottom rubber seal of our garage door, but Tyler was able to repair it for much less than a replacement would cost. I highly recommend this business for their honest and quality service.

I was thoroughly impressed with the garage door service from Desert Spring Garage Door Repair. Scheduling was easy, they arrived right on time, and the technician was extremely knowledgeable. What really set them apart, though, was the great attitude—professional, positive, and even a good sense of humor. Tyler texted me when he was 30 minutes out and again when he arrived, we thought we needed new rubber at bottom and it was hanging down and weren’t sure of repairs needed. He was honest and said rubber was fine and reattached the bottom and did a slight adjustment and tuneup, he could have replaced rubber and charged us for adjustment instead he only charged us for reattatchment and saved us over $200. Great to see there are still honest businesses out there thank you very much

I highly recommend Desert Spring Garage Door Repair company. My neighbor and I both had our annual garage door inspection and maintenance done by Desert Spring Garage Door Repair. It was incredibly easy to schedule around my availability. The service was very thorough. All moving parts were inspected, lubricated and the door balanced. They provided great value, detailed, knowledgeable, professional and followed up with a phone call to make sure I was a satisfied customer.

The tech arrived about 10 minutes early and immediately diagnosed the problem. We had a broken spring. The total replacement was less than an hour and everything had been working great since then. They even tuned up both of our garage doors and checked everything else out. I recommended Desert Springs on our Community page and saw some positive feedback from residents that used them.

Tyler did a great job explaining the process, and the new garage door openers work perfect! He installed 2 openers and the outside remote keypad. He got both doors programmed and up and running. I highly recommended them!
