"Mr. Vinay Shah, Design-Build Workshop went into contract with you based on an agreed-upon scope of work and budget. The proposed work was preliminarily reviewed by the coop resident manager for conformance to the guidelines of the building for alterations. After you signed with us, you proposed changes for additional appliances that the coop board would not accept. Besides, this and other proposed changes jeopardized the adherence to the budget of the project. We attempted to work with you, but could not proceed in clear defiance of the rules of the coop. We were attempting to protect you, your budget, the project, and Design-Build Workshop. In regards to our prices, we are competitively priced for the current market. We also stand by and trust in our vendors to deliver the quality and finish that one would expect from a high-end renovation.
