Design, Cabinetry & Construction

When you hire Eddie, you get a good deal more than a master cabinet maker. There's a good reason he includes the term "Design" within the company's title. With many years experience to include NYC theatre and retail store design and construction, he can offer brainstorming ideas even if you know exactly (or should I say, "thought you knew") what you wanted. We initially discussed my original bathroom remodel and vanity design sketches for hours on several occasions before demolition began. We made numerous tweaks as Eddie suggested details and materials I had not thought to include. And because my own remodeling abilities are extensive, although don't include the precision required for professional cabinet making, I knew from the outset he was clearly the best of three companies I interviewed for the work. Although due to several unforeseen setbacks (read: it's a 240-yr-old house), the work took somewhat longer than originally planned. The bathroom from complete gutting of walls and floor to its new cabinetry, wainscoting, and tiling of shower/bath and floor far exceeded my original concept. Beautiful work with emphasis on detail and overall integrated design.

Restoration was beyond my expectations as table was water stained & mold damaged. Second table was brought to life as I had never seen it. Kudos to Eddie & his shop.

Attention to detail and quality of work was excellent. Me Cruz was a pleasure to deal with.

Had Ed Feldman repair two chairs. One needed to be glued, and the second needed to have a spindle constructed and added to the supports and legs of the chair. The glue job was fine. When he returned the chair that needed a spindle, the spindle looked a little rough, but acceptable. My wife sat on the chair and it totally collapsed. This was March 3,2013. The repair was already paid for ($250). I called him and he came and picked up the chair. Today is August 3rd - FIVE MONTHS LATER - still no chair. I called him and left a message for him to return the broken chair. VERY BAD.

I have found with Eddie, he has excellent space concepts when designing. His creativity is totally amazing. He is meticulous and prompt and his integrity is amazing.
