We highly recommend Matt Trolingers Design MATTers and LAWn Care. Matt and his team members were personable, professional, knowledgeable and provided great service resulting in beautifully landscaped yards. Many thanks to Matt for his leadership and his hard working team Felipe and Reuben, as well as the other Reuben Matts friend.

Hired Matt and his team come out and do a complete back yard landscaping replacement in the summer time 2021. We went with xeriscape to lower water consumption. He and his team did a excellent job from the digital design all the way until they completed the project. The finished 3 days earlier then expected which is nice.

Wonderful customer service! Great job. Outstanding results, way beyond what I expected. Highly recommend this company and the professionalism of the staff was impeccable.

Matt is great to work with. He does his best to design something within your budget and does an awesome job. We will be using his services again when we do the the front yard. I would highly recommend his business.

Hired him back in end of July-August. Paid him 50 percent for the job no response or work done since. No response to email or text.

Never give Mr. Matthew a deposit.

Mat and his crew did a good job sodding our entire lawn, but their customer service is lacking. Our install date moved several times which would be understandable if he was honest with me why. He gave us a date and no one showed up and he did not call or respond and to my text or phone calls. At one point he said he was sick and his business temporarily shut down, so then I wanted a refund and suddenly he could do my lawn next week. When the work was done we were happy with it and he was knowledgeable and personable. We would recommend this company but suggest you don't be in a hurry for the job to be done unless their scheduling and staff issues improve.

Matt Went out of his way to get a large landscaping job done with very little notice for us. He was professional and always held up his end of the bargain. My only complaint was they failed to spray weed killer on the rock xeriscape before leaving. This is a small thing we can do it ourselves. But it was something they were going to do.

Honest and responsible to get the job done right at a reasonable price.

Buyer beware! No integrity. Workmanship and quality of work are both poor. Communication was great, but only during the initial process, then, it just became a burden as time went on. They halfway corrected items that were not done to my satisfaction. The verbal agreement became non-existent. I would not recommend these guys, not even to cut the grass!

Beware of this company, I recommend doing your research on the work you want to be done on your home before hiring this company. Yard services were started, but none of the work was finished as workers kept delaying the work despite being asked why work was not progressing. Additionally, half the work that was done was wrong and would have to be completely redone, this was addressed numerous times with the project manager, but none of the issues were fixed. My contract invoice amount was raised despite there being no change clause on the contract we originally received. Upon questioning the costs of the project, we were shown receipts that had items unrelated to the project; the owner stated, *those items were for a different project* (not related to the project) when I asked him to show us where the material was installed in our home. Work would not begin until 9 AM despite the project manager telling me numerous times that they would arrive at 7:30 AM. Lunchbreaks would be over an hour and a half and the crew left by 5 PM (on a few occasions they left at 3 PM). I was told a full crew of 8 workers would be onsite to get the project done, but no more than five (5) showed up initially, this includes the project manager. By day six of the project, only two (2) workers showed up at a time to work on the project, which significantly slowed their progress and delayed the deadline again. Before we fired this company, the owner admitted he has no experience with French drains and agreed that what his crew installed in our backyard was incorrect and would need to be redone. This is surprising given that during the quote walkthrough I asked the project manager if French drains are something this company does, he said yes, that they do French drains as they have installed some in the past. Road crushed rock base used for the French drains rather than using coarse washed rock, which is recommended industry practice (google it). My gutter downspout bands were removed from our gutters, which disconnected the gutters from the house, made them unsafe, and could potentially cause damage to the house. The project manager apologized and said he would have that fixed immediately, however, that never happened. The tubing for the gutters that connect to the French drain was placed 3 feet above ground around our downspouts when it should only be about a foot above the ground. The tubing did not use downspout adapters to connect to the gutter and looked tacky. This was all addressed with the project manager, however, he informed me that he could change it if I did not like it, but that was how the drain would work properly. This was also not corrected. When they were at my home, this company also tampered with the irrigation system and said they had to fix it. Today I contacted another company to check the sprinklers. They told me that the PVC was broken and that mistake of theirs cost me an extra $130 to fix.

They called me with pics to see if what they were doing was what I wanted. Also offered face time. Love it. 🌺🌺🌺

This company did a great job for us. Was available immediately and made time to add more when we expanded the project. Highly recommend.

Matt was so helpful with all of my design needs and at a great price!!! His crew was always on time and finished the job ahead of schedule..I cannot wait for them to do my backyard.

Internal management struggles prevented a full service approach. Matt is running the business now and will no doubt provide the best service he can. He's courteous, and honest.
