We hired Design R Architects for architectural plans of a large master bathroom renovation. They were a pleasure to work with! Walter was patient, responsive, and invested in our project right from start to finish. Our questions and emails were answered immediately, and he and his partner Russell even provided additional suggestions above and beyond what they were hired for. This firm provided great service at a reasonable price. We were taking down a poorly built addition and rebuilding it slightly bigger, changing the roof style, and incorporating the addition into the adjoining kitchen to create a better flow.They provided professional and timely communication and turn around times. They came to our house and spent a great deal of time discussing the project so they could get a feel for our style and our needs. They provided preliminary drawings for approval before doing the final drawings and they were willing to make any changes we wanted at that time. They were great at explaining options and ideas. When their ideas conflicted with what we had in mind for structural reasons they explained at least two options and let us decide how to proceed. Additionally they continued to be of service as the project developed. There were minor adjustments that we made and they accommodated those in the drawings for a reasonable additional cost. They also took calls and answered questions from contractors we were getting estimates from, as well as the contractor we hired.
