Richard Taylor from Designed Concrete Surfaces was wonderful to work with. He promptly returned my phone call and arrived promptly on the day that we scheduled for him to review the job and to provide me with an estimate. My concrete steps were in bad shape. Several years ago, paint was applied over the concrete, which was a major mistake! Mr. Taylor and his crew used special grinding tools to remove the old paint and to smooth out edges and the surface. The steps were then stained brown using Kingdom Products Flash dye and then sealed with 2 coats of solvent based acrylic sealer. We had a contractor come and install new black aluminum railings and my steps have never looked better. My only regret is that I didn't know about Designed Concrete Surfaces when I was searching for a contractor to repair the steps several years ago. I've had many neighbors comment on how nice the steps look and, with the help of Designed Concrete Surfaces, I'm now very proud of the outside of my home.
