Had to return to complete the job - originally skipped window sills and screens, but certainly made it right. Highly satisfied with the outcome.

The first of July, 2020, I called Detail Window Cleaning for a quote to clean the windows in my home. The gentleman I spoke with asked me to count each window pane (upper and lower) and give him the total, which was 70. He then emailed me the quote of $425. I felt like that was a tad high, but I figured it would be worth it, based on their high rating. I was willing to pay a decent amount for quality, dependable service. They scheduled me for July 8th at 9:00 am. At 9:30 I received a phone call from them stating that they had put my address in the GPS, but did not put in the city, so it took them downtown Indianapolis (45 minutes from me), and that they were now on their way. 2 gentlemen arrived around 10:30 and got started. They were both very kind, personable and professional. There was one that seemed more knowledgeable, and one that was new. They were here around 2 hours and when they were finished we asked for an invoice so that we could pay them. They didn't have an invoice, but said they would have the boss email us one later. What business doesn't give you invoice when you pay? So, we give them the payment and as they were leaving, we also had to leave, as we had an appointment scheduled that we were pushing to get to since they arrived late. As we pulled out of our driveway, I noticed that 3 of the screens in front of our house were laying in the grass and not put back in. No big deal, I figured they had forgotten and I'd pop them in when I returned home. Upon our return home, we went to put the screens in and noticed that those 3 windows had not even been cleaned! Then we walked through and also noticed many others that were not cleaned, or the top was cleaned and not the bottom, and vice versa. Our back porch furniture was pulled out away from the windows, and not put back. Rags were left laying on the porch as well as inside in one of our rooms. And the real kicker... a screen in one of our windows was torn...and not just a small tear, the entire side was hanging down. How did they not notice they did that?? So, I call the place. They return my call the following day. The manager said he would have them return on Monday, July 13th, for a complete re-do and that HE would be with them and make it right. PERFECT! I have no problem with that. I'm a business owner, and I know things happen. I have no problem giving them the chance to make it right. They return on Monday...without the manager. We Showed them the windows that weren't cleaned, and they stated, "well it's rained since then"...Wait, WHAT? So I ask why the manager isn't with them. They stated he wasn't supposed to come with them and that they didn't clean our garage windows because they don't do garage windows. We also had a window that is in the bonus room above our garage. He didn't clean that because it was too difficult to get to. Their company does commercial buildings, and that was too difficult? They informed me that the communication between management and the employees is terrible and that they tell the homeowners one thing, and their employees another. I called the manger and finally got him call back. He showed up an hour later and walked through and had the guys re-do some of their work. He also took our screen and said he would have it fixed and back to us in a reasonable amount of time. He called me the next day, told me he had dropped it off at a place that day and would get back to us in a few days. It has now been over a month. We still don't have our screen and have not heard another word from them. I NEVER do reviews. This is an hour of my life I'll never get back...but this is the worst customer service I have encountered in as long as I can remember. We have waited well over an ample amount of time for them to make this right, and they have failed. I would hate for someone else be taken advantage of like we were.

These people were on top of things right from the start. There was plenty of communication, via phone and email. My questions prior to hiring them were answered promptly and politely. The two men who came to do the work were both friendly and professional. They were careful of our property and landscaping. They did a good job on the windows. I gave this company only 4.5 stars because they dripped water on the floors and didn't wipe it up. Otherwise, this company was great.

I was very dissatisfied with the work performed by Detail Window Cleaning LLC! A third appointment being necessary because the first one the people couldn t hook-up their power-washing machine to my washing machine water line, the second appointment necessary because their power-washing machine wouldn t turn on and, then, the third appointment necessary to finally power-wash my porch with a new power-washing machine (that they put together here) and clean my windows. The first appointment, DWC people were an hour+ later than the appointment time. The second appointment, they were 2-1/2 hours later than my appointment. The third appointment they were here an hour after I called about the water leak in my laundry room since the second appointment ended the day before. My windows weren t cleaned well nor was my entire porch power-washed well … and I have marred wood paint from the employees that were here and a washing machine controls panel that won t push back in properly. (I believe their employees need A LOT of training to be a Home Advisors/Angie s List A-grade company but the employees I met were polite.)

They cleaned my windows with Dawn Dish Detergent not the best window cleaner for me, personally I always used ammonia vinegar and water when I cleaned my windows no spots the windows were clear as glass..not as clear with the Dawn detergent. He said Dawn cleans dishes windows are not dishes.
