John listened to us, and gathered our ideas. He was friendly and highly professional. After one look in our space, he had already estimated what he would need and delivered it the next day. He worked hard, and wouldnâ t stop until the project was finished. We even asked him to drywall an arch in the hallway, and he did so willingly and beautifully. I couldnâ t recommend John enough. A great guy who we will hire again! Thank you John!

John went over and above the call of his job. He was the collaborator with the roofers and entire upstairs drywall. He facilitated the completion of a problematic roof installation.

For 6-years my wife has been asking me if we could sheet-rock over the "cabin-like" wood at our lake house. After hiring John, I admitted "why did I wait so long". The craftsmanship, professionalism, constant communication, price, attention to detail and ability to think of ideas to make the house look even better is beyond our wildest dreams. I have never seen my wife so excited about the outcome of John Devoe's work. For those who read this, please don't look for a 2nd or 3rd quote, just call John, you will be happy you did, your home or project will be 100xtimes better than you ever thought. Had to big areas of popcorn ceiling Living room and Dining room and Kitchen. We wanted flat ceiling. John gave us a price which made everyone happy and started the following Monday. He worked around us and what we need, very professional and end product looks fabulous, we are very happy with the whole experience with John. Would hire John again with out any thought at all.

With 3 decades of experience as a Licensed Electrician and a landlord with multiple properties around Lewiston, I was hesitant to hire someone I didn't know. I have always done this type of work myself and was afraid I would not be satisfied with another persons work. I was very pleasantly surprised! Devoe Drywall was reasonably priced, met the deadline we agreed upon, did not surprise me with add-ons and extras, did an A-1 job, and cleaned up well beyond what I expected. This was a difficult garage drywall installation and finishing. High ceilings and many obstructions but John did a great job. Very conscientious. Provided innovative solution in a complex area of the ceiling.

We contacted John Devoe to install drywall on a basement ceiling. He came over the same day to look at the job and provided a quote which was very reasonable so we hired him. I have been in the construction industry for 40 years (now retired) and can attest that it is extremely difficult to find an excellent drywall subcontractor. John exceeded my expectations his work was professional and exceptional. John has a young helper who is picking up the trade under the guidance of John as well, this is very important to bring in the younger generation into the trades for the future. I would use John again and would highly recommend him to anyone who needs drywall done.

I hired John to install drywall in a new finished space over our garage. He did outstanding work and was very professional. When the scope of the work increased slightly John came right back out to our house to remeasure and update our quote. He honored his price and was genuinely interested in ensuring our satisfaction both during and after the job. This work ran into an already finished living space and he did a great job minimizing impact to our daily life. I would not hesitate to hire him again. I would recommend him to friends and family. He was great to work with and the finished product is outstanding.

He promised a finished basement that would look like the remaining newly constructed house. He Delivered on that promise, on a timely fashion. During this trying time in history, John is true professional.

After calling and trying to get others to at least give me a quote, they never showed. Called John Devoe Drywall and John QUICKLY came out, gave a quote, and I hired him. He was prompt, meticulous in the work and did a great job. Since the job took several days he would call when coming, ensured all work was done to MY satisfaction, and guaranteed the work for a year. I would give a higher rating if possible. You will not go wrong in hiring Devoe Drywall. He also cleaned up after the job, something I've come to observe most contractors don't do.
