Carl is competent, honest, and very personable--a pleasure. He dedicated significant time to negotiating an estimate and executing a major project on my home: totally new AC, plumbing, bathroom fixtures, waste pipe, and boiler/hot water heater, and a few replacement radiators. He came out personally despite a long distance over a period of several months, and is patiently waiting on me to finish the plumbing and heating in the basement. High quality work and flexibility, worth a little extra cost. A hard-nosed inspector was very impressed with the boiler/water heater he set up. I've worked with many contractors, and he's at the top level.

"Jane, I don't even know where to begin with this. Your husband asked us to do extra work. It took 2 men over an hour to complete. I charged you an extra $75. I don't understand what the problem was. I wish you would have let me know you we're upset about this, maybe I could have had a chance to explain before you wrote this review that maks me sound like a scum bag contractor which I am not and pride myself on doing quality work with professional ethics in my family run business since 1951. I have never had a review or situation like this ever. Myself and employees pride ourselves on honest business practices."

Carl and Jeff came into the home on time, were friendly, professional, and cared about the property as if they were in their own homes. Carl quoted me a price over the phone the previous day and although the project was more challenging than he anticipated, he did not raise the cost. Between Carl and Jeff there was a spirit of camaraderie and an attitude of 'there's no problem we can't solve!' I will definitely keep Di Donato Mechanical as the resident plumbers for my home.

I had a shower and 3 toilets replaced. I got estimates from $5000 to $9500 for the job. DiDonate gave me an estimate for $5450 and were very resonable. They did a great job and cleaned up after they were finished. Although there is no leak anywhere the acrylic shower base shakes a little bit so I have to take away 1 point for quality.

I had one other estimate for the plumbing issues in our home and it was quite a bit more expensive than DiDonanto. The other plumbing service also said they would have to cut a hole in our wall, leaving drywall to be patched by yet another contractor and a difficult faux paint finish to match. DiDonanto said they could do the job without leaving a hole in the wall and completed the work that same day in a professional and timely manner. Affordable and quality service. I will definitely call them next time we need a plumber.

Carl was very responsive to phone calls and emails, professional and easy to work with, and fixed all of the plumbing issues quickly. Carl replaced my bath tub faucet, installed a new copper outside faucet, and closed off an old outside faucet that was too damaged to repair in a cost effective manner. All of the work was done within 2 hours. I highly recommend Carl for plumbing repairs and will use him again in the future.
